Missed opportunity.
This could be a very useful tool for educating people on almost anything positive that sheriffs office wants to put out. However, whoever is in charge of the notifications, chose to use it for COVID information. This just completely discourages people from leaving the notifications on or having the app entirely. Just like when our state government chose to use the Amber alert system for COVID alerts. What a missed opportunity for this app to be something very helpful to our community and the officers that protect it.Support the police.

By empowering people through technology, the Berks County Sheriff’s Office will be able to better protect our county.
