Description of Tinnitus Aid

Do you have tinnitus or “ringing in the ears”? Tinnitus Aid helps you understand and relieve your tinnitus symptoms. Recent research shows that tinnitus can be treated by listening to sounds that have been filtered to remove your specific tinnitus frequencies.* With Tinnitus Aid, you can apply advanced filters to over 200 high-quality sounds to find relief for your symptoms. Simply apply a bandpass filter to any sound or mix to isolate frequencies in a narrow range. Move this filter up and down the frequency range until it closely matches the ringing frequency in your ears. Add a bandstop filter at these frequencies to any sound or mix to create your tinnitus mask. The advanced filters can be applied to both ears or just one ear, and different frequency ranges can be used for each ear. You can set a wide range of filter widths from 0.1 to 4.0 octaves, down to 1Hz resolution. And you can adjust the volume level in each ear with a single balance control. Tinnitus Aid includes for free: high-quality natural sounds, unlimited mixes, an auto-shutoff timer, and a sample of the advanced tinnitus filters and controls. Subscribe to get unlimited use of the advanced tinnitus filters, 200+ high-quality sounds with all future sound additions, and no ads. Reviews of Tinnitus Aid

  • Fantastic App, Exactly what I have been looking for. A+

Im a long time sufferer of Tinnitus and Meniere’s Disease and I mean I suffered from it especially like now when I have a Meniere’s flare up. Im no doctor just a patient and I am professional being treated so this is my personal opinion on this app and how it helps me. Before I found this app I was looking for something I could tailer to my specific needs. I wanted something I could adjust the ears independently and control the volume and pitches of the sounds. So recently the past week I found the Tinnitus Aid app about 2am, yeah 2am because I couldnt sleep because of the ringing in my ears so I searched and searched again. I have been looking for something like this for so long and I got lucky and found it. The more I use it the better its getting and Im understanding better how to use it to tailer it to my needs. I dont consider this just a Tinnitus app, its therapeutic for anyone for relaxation and just taking it easy when you need it and listen to something soothing. The developers really listen and respond to suggestions and questions and thats so important to me especially in my case right now..but I really love this app and its worth every penny of the subscription price Im paying for it, one of the better investments for an app I have. I hope anyone that gives it a try loves it as much as I do but if its helping me with the severe case of tinnitus I have I would hope it could help many more…good luck with it if you give it a try, I sure do love it.
  • Great Sound App

Great sound app for Tinnitus sufferers. You have to experiment to find the right frequency or sounds to mask you tinnitus. This will enable you to have a restful sleep.
  • No help

Tinnitus is problematic enough. This is no help. With these sounds I might as well go work in a factory.

    Developer Response

Hmm.. please be sure to try a range of natural sounds- like rain, streams, ocean, they are all high-quality stereo recordings. Create a few custom mixes and sample the advanced filters.
