Portrait Painting HD
For those familiar with the Evolution Games developer line of painting apps the quality and execution of Portrait Painting HD will be of no surprise. To those not as familiar besides serving high quality images of thousands of paintings both well known and not so well known from artists also known and not so known the app does well to provide classical music as a backdrop if one chooses to employ. The app is also easy to navigate by way of the category of paintings and provides a way to view the works in slideshow mode and or individually. Paintings users would like to save can be starred and kept in a favorites section, mailed to others or transferred to the Photos application on the device being used. These apps are a great resource to art lovers, novices and those who wish to view works in general.

This app has a hug bug about sending HD image to email box. When I try to get the HD image, and type my email address, always shows error!

Portrait painting
The high quality and consistent colour rendering of the images makes this an excellent buy. It is not easy to find out where the originals are. Pity Benjamin Wilson doesn't make the final count - but there are many lesser known figures to study...
