There is a glitch
Lost a machete from my inventory, had to restart my iPad. Got a machete back but it disappeared again when I changed a scene. So I went to the right scene and restarted my iPad, got a machete back and used it right away. No problem since that.

Enjoyed the game although sometimes items difficult to pick up.

Mini games weren't too hard, just need a little more explanation in how to play. I bought at the discounted Aussie price, so well worth it. Looking forward to the next game and will start looking for more games by this game manufacturer. Thank you!

Fun game. Not too hard. Would have enjoyed more hidden object games within the game.
Great game, but quite anticlimactic
I've played many of their games before. Either I got really good on advance, or this game was actually really short and believe me I usually never play advance. I believed I finished this in 4 hours, around there? Which in my opinion is really short.
The graphics hands down is great! I enjoyed the plot, but it felt quite predictable and it was pretty anti climatic in the end. I liked most of the games because there was always some kind of plot twist, this not really. It was really straightforward.

Surprisingly good
All the reviews were correct in saying that the trial is extremely short. The game itself however is nice and long plus a bonus chapter. This game had everything I like; A map, you can transport locations, the inventory items are marked, the hints will also transport you, you can mute the voices, hos are easy and there are not too many of them. The only issue is the puzzle directions are not clear on a lot of the games. Overall I enjoyed this game and recommended it.

Elephant Games always triumphs with their splendid graphics and presentation effects. In those regards, they are hands down, the best.
But it kind of ends there for me. The detective angle was somewhat interesting but got tedious after awhile. It just seemed too drug out.
I too had fits with the touchy map but got the hang of it: when you tap a spot to jump to, tap again at the question mark, not at the location picture that pops up. It may not get you where you want to go every time, but it'll keep you out of that stupid foyer.
HOS were humdrum with repetitious lists. For some odd reason, I felt more a spectator in this game as opposed to a participant.
With the trials getting shorter, it really is a gamble to fork over the dough only to find something is going to disappear from inventory or you'll encounter some other game ending glitch.
Puzzle explanations weren't always thorough enough for me. That, coupled with my previous mentions are the reasons for deducting two stars.

I enjoyed the game, couple of issues with items not lifting the first time you tap on them, but with persistence it works.

Would be good, however in a hos I need to pick up a feather to go in a hat. Not working!!! Can not go any further in this game. I am really getting fed up with these games now that constantly fails in one way or another... Big fish please sort it out!!
Very good, flawed controls
Another winner from the pachyderms! Not excellent due to some issues with controls. Some scenes required leaving and returning before able to select desired object. Also, not really in line with previous Grim Legend games. Four stars though.
