Crash
Crashes every time I put blow torch together. When go back to game it goes in unlock game mode. I think this would be a great game if I could play without the crashes.Gracy1
Crash work around?
Crashes multiple times during the HOGs.
But found if I went slow in hog by tapping each hidden object separately... and waited for the item to cross out before selecting next hidden object...I was able to avoid crashes and could finish game.
Besides the crashes...game is a lot of fun! Better than the last surface game.ally555

Really like what I have been able to play of the game. Twice I have been kicked out during different Hidden Object Scenes. Hope it gets fixed so I can decide whether or not to purchase.brenda444

Picture is very dark
Just been playing about 10 minutes. Game is ok, but the picture is very dark & difficult to see. Will try to lighten up before I delete this free app. Probably would not pay for it at this point.Old granny's
Crashes
Crashed twice and I'm only playing the sample. Once within five minutes of play, looking for hidden objects, the second time a few minutes later and again, looking for hidden objects in a different puzzle. Will not be purchasing if I can't even trust the sample. Best part, after the second crash, it deleted the game I started and it brought me back to the beginning.Banshee's Cry
Reel Life is Real Fun!
Thank you, Elephant Games, for another in the enchanting Surface series! I am really impressed with the quality of this game so far! Are you a fan of the movie, The Purple Rose of Cairo, in which the Hero comes into the actual theater through the movie screen to carry on a romance with a human woman in the audience? That is similar to the premise of this exciting game. You are tracking Jane, who was carried off by a movie character in that fashion. What a great mystery! As with most Elephant Games, the Hint, Skip, and Transporting Map features work quite well. I love collecting the little jeweled flowers in the Surface series. Sometimes they are merely stuck on a letter, or they may seem like a natural part of the scene. And there are usually two or three per scene! Items in Inventory are well labeled, and usually easy to obtain. There is not a "tapping" problem with these Elephant Games, as sometimes happens with other vendor games. I love the humorous comments, such as the movie character who ducks to avoid a spear, and remarks, "Hey, I got tired of always being killed." My favorite part of the game so far was creating a 50s style pinball game of King Kong. Your task was to rearrange the flippers and other pinball parts to land your ball in the hole. I LOVE pinball, so this was exciting for me. I may have to look up this puzzle in the Extras section, and replay it a few times! For an interesting new twist on mysteries, buy this game while it is on sale. You will be pleased and entertained!SunshineSusie
