This app has saved me from forgetting essentials like an extra shirt or pants time and time again! Not to mention it tailors your packing list to the weather in the city for the duration of your trip! 10/10 should download.
The app I’ve been looking for
With the upgrade to premium, this app is perfect for planning what I need to pack. I can customize different activities. I added a cooking list for trips we stay in a cabin or condo and will be cooking to remember my favorite knife, spatula, and, of course, COFFEE. The only thing I’d add would be more icons (dog, for example) so I can make sure I have everything she needs for the trips she goes along with us.

Great Packing Tips
I have used this app‘s checklist of travel items, which is helpful as a reminder of what to pack and the number/types of clothing to bring based on location and normal weather.
Easy to use!
I had a great time using this app. Instead of going in and hand-picking the items on your list, it creates one for you! It was not as time consuming as other apps, and it was very easy to use.

Makes sure I don’t forget essentials.
I have been using this for business trips, weekend getaways and vacations for a couple of years now, and have found that it helps me decide the right size luggage for the journey, but also helps me from overpacking when I want to travel light. Best of all, it considers the weather at your destination so that I pack the right clothes for the season.

Super helpful
This app helped me plan ahead the things I need even 6 weeks before I travel. It gives useful suggestions for stuff I take for granted but would suffer without them, like beach sandals or sunscreen lotion.
Overall good but the UI needs refinement
My initial review of this app wasn’t quite fair. There were some capabilities I didn’t think it had but it did - they were just harder to find than I thought. Biggest issues are some inefficiencies in the user interface. One big one - PackPoint always wants to drop you into the screen for creating a packing list, even when that’s not what you want to do and there’s no way out of it until you create a list. Then you have to go back and delete the unwanted list it forced you to create! Other annoyances are 1) entering dates one field at a time instead of using a calendar selector; 2) the weather display looks like a day forecast but isn’t; 3) the weather display also needs to allow you to click thru to a multi day forecast covering your trip; 3) it really needs to let you modify the names of items in an activity as well as change the ordering, like you can in an actual packing list. There are a lot of other UI annoyances. They’re all small, but collectively they make the app more tedious than it needs to be.

Great packing lists!
Very detailed packing list, including items I would usually forget
Not specific enough
Great idea but I wouldn’t trust it to know specifics of particular places. As an example I put in San Francisco in May for photography and hiking. It gave me a basic list of everything but didn’t include enough layering clothes. Anyone who knows San Francisco knows it can be foggy in the mornings and therefore cold anytime of year. As the day progresses it can very hot by the afternoon. A light jacket was suggested but you would actually need a hoody, gilet, light cardigan, lightweight gloves and a beanie hat. If I took a trip as I suggested in the app I’d end up having to buy numerous items or be cold.
