Great App for the field
I'm a amateur bird watcher. Love this App. You always carry your phone with you, with the BirdLasser App I can log my sightings any time anywhere. Been using it for 4 years now, in Australia, Namibia and South Africa.Johaninwa

Hi Dave, there is a simpler way: just slide the tile (species record in the trip card) from right to left to reveal the Delete button.Useless
#1. Unable to register. I just get a white window to click ok and nothing happens.
#2. If you are red green colorblind you cannot read the text on registration screen.
#3. The logon process using Facebook too giving a failed interface message.
It is a free apo with no help and you get what you pay for. Nothing.Show lessMytmoss

I am unable to produce a list of birds I have recorded to share on WhatsApp or email on my iPhone 8. It just gives a summary of total number seen for pentad. I can’t see anything on the black background when I am wearing my sunglasses.Lk Chivero

Hi Lk, to create a list to be shared via WhatsApp or any other means, just select the Export (CSV) option from the menu in the trip card and select the medium you want to use.Awesome and versatile birding app
Birdlasser is my go to app for birding. Rapid capture is the essence of any field tool. The Birdlasser search algorithm uses any short string from the English, Latin or some other names to bring up a list of matches. This gets around the problem of remembering exact spelling and hyphenation, name changes and avoids scrolling down endless dropdown lists to find your target. It’s not the only innovation but it’s a winner. This app is designed in South Africa to work with atlassing systems there but it works perfectly anywhere - I’ve used it in Mauritius, Reunion and Australia. GPS Doesn’t Work
I like the concept of this, but in spite of allowing it to access my location and specifying that I am in the United States, it still thinks I’m in South Africa.PressedK
