Hello! We’re happy to announce that we’re back and here to stay. There’s lots of new features, tweaks and fixes in this release. Note: Unfortunately you’ll be required to re-sign into the app to continue using it. We’ve improved the sign in process though to make it easier than ever. - Fixed links to other posts not opening properly tapped on from within the app - Anonymous posts are now limited to users with 3 verifications or more - Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented you from seeing some posts if you hadn't opened the app recently. - Fixed issue with like counts not showing correctly when there's more than > 99 - You can now access filters from the activities tab - Fixed a bug with search that was meaning posts, and users sometimes weren’t showing - Invite Parents re-added to Settings view - Fixes accidentally opening the map, URL's and user's profiles in Activities - Section headers with dates on now persist after the first activity has been scrolled out of the way - Fixed issue with being unable to edit your employment status etc. - Fixed being unable to share childcare posts/classifieds immediately after posting them. - Many crash fixes

We’re going national and with this release anyone can unlock their local community feed in Parenthoods. - Unlock your local community feed - Keyword filtering - filter posts containing specific keywords from your feed - Improved deep links (the links that take you to posts in the app) - Sharing posts/activities now use - New secondary feed which is local to you - how local depends on where you are...we'll keep updating this! - Comments no longer auto scroll when new comment come in, including your own (we'll take another look at this for the next release) - New tab bar layout for parents outside of the bay area - Bug fixes While our app crash rate is incredibly low, we're going to spend even more time on bug fixes in the next release - we know how annoying it can be when the app crashes!

*Communities/Filters* - San Francisco users can now opt to follow additional communities (or all 'Hooders) from the Preferences view. - Users outside of San Francisco now see posts from all 'Hooders to make way for a better local solution in the next version of the app - New Activities filters (in the Preferences view) for Bay Area users to see activities from multiple regions - Added the ability to hide the "we're still growing" banner. - We'll now let you know if you view a profile of someone that you've not Favorited and isn't in your community *Bug Fixes* - Fixed a lots of common crashes - Partially fixed an issue that caused missing content if you'd not been on the app in the past ~24h (this will happen less frequently, still working on a full fix) - Fix for the Feed returning to the top each time you open the app - Fix for issue with deep links not opening sometimes from a completely closed application - Significantly reduced the energy consumption of the app - Fix for iOS 7 users crashing on start - Fix for Event and Profile image uploads - Fix for discounts not updating after changing cities - The Activities tab no longer continually refreshes the who's interested face pile *UI Tweaks* - "Report" has been relabelled “Report…” to emphasize that there’s another step - Triple digit comment and like counts now show correctly - Minor tweaks so there’s less spinners after changing your location - Prevent "Try again" alert from showing multiple times when closing and opening the app when the server is down - Removed the alert asking whether you wish to receive push notifications when someone you’ve favorited posts (while we figure out a better solution) - Fix for top padding of the post detail (comments view) in 9.1 - Fixed the pull to refresh position for cities that are still growing *Other* - Search now shows for everyone - Search now returns more results (This is quick fix - a more robust solution to come) - Added check when logging in and signing up to make sure you don't already have a user account of the opposite type (i.e. facebook vs password) so you don't sign in with the wrong account type. - Updated third party frameworks to include their bug fixes - Slightly improved loading time of the app

Note: Once you've started using 2.0 you'll no longer be able to use previous versions of Parenthoods (so be sure to upgrade to 2.0 on all devices). What's New: - Parents tab is now labelled "Community" - "Similar" users in the "Community" tab (we'll continue to improve this - the more complete your profile is the better we can be at our suggestions) - "Favorite" users to prioritise them in the feed and get back to them more easily - New content is now sorted by a combination of popularity and relevance (unless your Feed is sorted by time) - iOS 9 compatibility - iOS 9 support for universal links (so that links open in the app immediately rather than Safari) - iPhone 6S 3D Touch Quick Actions - iPhone 6S 3D Touch Peak & Pop for rich posts in the Feed - Bug Fixes - Meetup RSVP facepile is now sorted by whether someone is going or not and the most recent first

With 1.7 we're introducing two new types of activity that allow you to organize planned and spontaneous meetups that 'Hooders can RSVP to.
