Used to be a good game.
Been playing this game for years, I wouldn’t recommend it.
If your new to the game I wouldn’t even bother getting started. You need three years of time to put into it to be a average player.
Loads of people have quit the game over the past couple of years. Player base leaving.
Kixeye support is terrible. You get put though to a kixeye expert... as in another gamer which can’t do anything so it’s pointless.
The latest tier 8 fleets are great. You can’t even farm for upgrades ,they are that hard It’s brilliant. Even with tier eight ships ( vals ) you can’t farm for upgrades for other tier eight ships. So funny it makes me laugh.

Bad support for new players
This game is only oriented to the older and p2w players, newer players simply can’t keep up- the level gap restriction exists but that doesn’t stop a “lv 70 fleet” consisting of a single ship wiping out my entire fleet just because they feel like ruining your day. I used to love this game back when it was still new... came back after years and I realize there’s no coming back into the gameShow lessPulsing with the pulsar

Ok pointing out the obvious when you first start your adventure into playing this game it’s enjoyable and fun as it’s new, repairs are Short if not instant so with that being said you are lured in very easily. Now the reason for my 3 star review.
I don’t like painting games but as I see it this game feels very much pay to win. If you buy coins or pre-fitted fleet from the store then your fun is only matched by how long your fleet last. For a person that buys coins your repair time is nothing and can just go back out to fight again. But for those that don’t buy coins then patience is a virtue you must have. Say you have a lvl 90 fleet and someone decides to attack you with a lvl 105 fleet and destroys you it can take a literal day to repair if you buy coins then it’s nothing but if you don’t then you just had fun for 5 minutes and now you have to wait hours before you can do it again. Not to mention that someone lvl 50 can have its way any time it wants if your lvl 20 and below because you don’t have anything to attack back. 3 stars because in all honesty waiting 24hrs for your fleet to repair its self for that 5 minute match just isn’t that fun.
Can you have fun without coining, sure but understand that if you do not have patience then this game may not be for you.Show lessBest game 2017 and onward

I am revisiting my old friend, VEGA Conflict, where the amount of time I could waste is extraordinary!! Yes, this game will cost you a bit from your wallet... some much much more than others... that’s all a matter of your own needs. This is my fourth year playing (on and off) but it’s so exciting to come back to my friend and have it be available to pick back up and charge into battle!
The world is ever expansive and detailed.
The ships and weapons are beautiful with such detail pressed into them, I assume made from some people with a real heart for the science fiction realms. My hope is that there will always be a version of Vega Conflict for me to come back to... forever! Please never give up on this venture!... I need this game to disappear into whenever the need comes to me

Do not waste your time and money here.
They take your money you have fun for a little bit then they change the way things work and make all that money you spent and things you bought completely worthless and pointless. Will never ever again play this game. I learned my lesson with this developer.
As per the devs response yes things most definitely change over time to the point is makes things you purchased worthless and the amount of time taken to rebuild after an attack even a win is so unreasonable it’s not even funny so nice try with that response. I don’t care about minor tweaks but what y’all did went beyond a slight change. You made things that use to be a quick repair take days and weeks and so forth. You ruined a good game and all of these so called changes only goal achieved was to make people spend more money if they wanted any actual length of game play as any attack you spend all time playing the repair game.Show lessAnimeConnoisseur

Sounded nice originally...
I am a player from FB / Kixeye site, the browser version... pretty much battle pirates. But in space. War commander, was an easier RTS to play but they turned it into BP. Same with backyard monsters. So I was sceptical seeing the game rock up on IOS,
Unfortunately I cannot comment. So my review is just me saying it did NOT run on my IPhone X. It shows the splash screen, then disappears to black with nothing happening behind the scenes.
The IOS version, sounds promising because I want another RTS on mobile, a good one. One maybe I can go between desktop and mobile? This failed completely. I can not recommend it - and given prior company knowledge from myself? Yeah, I maybe a tiny bit biased towards negative.
I personally didn’t get into VEGA on PC, I didn’t get into battle pirates on PC. War commander and backyard monsters? Totally got into. BYM was my main, War was my second.Show lessStasis8364
Updating my review
As a beta player I have been playing this game since way before it was made public. It's a good game and not a pay to win I have not put a penny in this game and I am still more powerful than a coiner, I would recommend this game to anyone that wants a game that love space games, ignore them that say the game is dead it is NOT, there is a lot of help out there that can help you to level up from level 1 to level 55 in just a week and a half then you will have blueprints to build good strong ships and become strong. Game seldom launches, when it does it frequently dumps you out of the game. This is on IPad airMidmidmid
