The Future of EFBs
Not for me
Response from developer
Hi Mike, Everything you’ve downloaded beforehand (or relevant to a flight you’ve planned while online) will be there offline, and every open ADS-B receiver is supported. The planning icons on the map like FBOs or restaurants are intentionally not decluttered so you don’t miss one; they’re not something we’d expect you to fly around with. Please shoot us an email if you have any questions. Best, Matt
Disappointed

Sorry to hear that. Shoot us an email or check out the guides. Most things flow similarly to other major EFBs.
Better, but still not there
Response from developer
Hi Nick, Appreciate the update, but I’m a little confused. We haven’t received any reports from you about bugs or pricing (or frankly any bug reports from anyone in a couple months despite record usage). I think at this point we probably have more comprehensive testing than any other EFB, and I’d stake a lot on that. We do only claim 95% accuracy on fees and 98% on fuel though :) sometimes the FBO CSR doesn’t even know the “correct” price (or at least what they end up charging you anyway). But regardless we’d certainly appreciate an email to help@eightflight.com with any issue you have encountered so we can get it fixed in the next release (usually within 24 hours of receiving a report). Thanks, Matt
Best EFB on the Market
I’ve been using 8Flight now for almost a year. It has THE best weather radar imagery out of any EFB. The turbulence and clouds layers are also really accurate. The flight planning is easy to use and you can file any kind of flight plan.
The app gets regularly updated with new innovative features. Its price beats(significantly) out both of the big name EFB’s yet offers/will offer the same features.
Keep up the great work 8Flight team!
