Fantastic, pulpy fun
As far as interactive fiction goes, this certainly isn't the best. That said, it is ridiculous fun. The story is about as deep as your average B-movie, made-for-TV sci-fi flick and also chock full of everything that makes those movies so much fun to watch.

Refreshing change of pace
Don't listen to the one star guy. This game is really cool. There are too many apps that just involve mindlessly poking your screen for colors and miniscule results. This game is like getting to play a book RPG. The writing is mysterious and solid, and the game is just interactive enough to make the whole experience fascinating. and I have completed chapter 1. What an interesting way of reading a story. Or was it playing a game ? Regardless, I have survived thus far and the void awaits. Or should I go back and do things differently ? Maybe I was too fixated on my own survival to... to hell with that!

What a great journey to find yourself in. From the very beginning you are sucked into the storyline and every decision you make needs to be weighed carefully. My only complaint is not being able to subscribe to an email list to be notified when the next chapter comes out!thatssopanda

So glad I found this gem. Can't put it down! I don't have a clue why one of the reviewers below said it is racist? I think maybe they were reading something different. And the main character is a total badA! Also, I felt like there was actually strategy involved in the gameplay, which is refreshing to see in a game book. You get to choose how to distribute your stat points each time u gain a level, which directly effects your chances of success when faced with combat or skill related feats, certain choices you have to make, etc... You also get to choose different skills for your character based on how you want to play! I love it and will be playing the story thru several times as the replay value is high.Show lessCnsmith1984

A Total Blast!
This may just be my favorite way to burn through a commute. A choose your own adventure app! For $3 (the cost of many cheap or self published ebooks) you get a story as well as gameplay mechanics like those of old, I'm reminded of Warlock of Firetop Mountain. Totally worth it. A great experience with headphones in on the bus in the middle of the night. Check it out!Show lessceastlic
