It must be an overpriced-joke because no way you can call this an app. Anyone every play w/a bass player? If so, don't buy this app because there's no bass option!

This app is useless. I am a professional musician, and deleted this app 5 mins after I downloaded it. All the shortcomings described in previous reviews are accurate.

My 7 piece band is too big or something because the input list and the "other items" list goes directly through the middle of the stage plot... Cluttering the stage plot and making the list unreadable. Please refund my money and take your crap app back

Way too fiddly
This app looks good and offered all that is needed to make a good stage plot. However, it is incredibly fiddly to use on an iPhone and so I gave up after a while. Having to build a drum kit piece by piece while the visible editing squares obscured my view of where I wanted to put it was incredibly annoying. It was also hard to select the piece of equipment I wanted without accidentally moving or rotating the wrong pice instead.

The current app version improves the editing of items clustered tightly together as in a drum set. But editing a graphical layout will naturally be more difficult on a phone than on a tablet.
DONT BUY, TERRIBLE APP
Completely unusable unless you are a solo artist. The stage size is too small, the items are tool large with no way to scale, once you start adding things to the stage the edit screen makes it almost impossible to see what you are moving, and to top it all off you have no way of editing your input list.... This is a waste of time and money.

The input list is generated automatically from the items you place on the stage plot. You can number and label the items in the input list, but you can't add inputs that aren't on the stage plot or vice versa.
Venue Owners and Show Producers LOVE THIS!!
This app has been very useful as a communication tool for creating quick and easy stage setup diagrams to show the desired position for each band member, which band members need a power outlets, as well as each person's monitor preferences. It's been great to be able to provide those stage plots to venue owners and show producers. They have all been both impressed and thankful for the information, and they are usually happy to oblige!
As for all of the negative reviews, I'm completely stumped! If you want help, you've gotta ask for it or you're never gonna get it. And this is the wrong place to be asking for that help! Anyone who knows anything about the iOS App Store knows that developers have NO WAY to respond to reviews. You need to contact the developer directly for assistance. I have been a long-time user of Arlo's other apps, BandHelper and Set List Maker, and anyone who has ever reached out to Arlo for assistance with a problem knows that he is SUPER helpful and quick to respond to issues with his apps. (And while I'm at it, the developers are not able to provide refunds. You need to contact Apple for that! I've had very good luck getting app refunds when it was justified.)
