Description of Denver Playgrounds & Parks

Features: This app reviews over 800 public playgrounds in the Denver metro area, from Golden to Aurora, and Broomfield to Centennial. The free version provides names, exact locations, and photo previews of all play areas on a zoomable map. An in-app purchase unlocks over 1500 photos, ratings, amenity & play equipment information, as well as driving directions. Also listed are pools, creeks, spraygrounds, dog parks, sledding hills, accessibility features, and more. This project is an ongoing effort; I update the app regularly as playgrounds change or new play areas open. Subscription: If you choose to upgrade to the subscription version, a $2.99 purchase will be charged yearly to your credit card through your iTunes account. Yearly subscriptions will automatically renew at $2.99 unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime with your iTunes account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription. Subscriptions may be managed by you and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. Reviews of Denver Playgrounds & Parks

  • Great resource!

I use the app to find fun parks to visit with my grandchildren. I love being able to pull up parks near wherever we are in the metro and get ratings and pictures on the fly. The ratings and descriptions are usually spot on!
  • Indispensable for Denver parents

Use it on a weekly basis. I can’t believe how many playgrounds are included in this app. Planning ahead is now a breeze! My kids love playgrounds and we finally know which ones to go to. No more guessing or Googling!
  • Used to love it, now it never works

I’ve tried everything from uninstalling to rebooting my phone. It opens and immediately shuts down as it tells me about the new version. So sad. My kids have loved checking out all the hidden gems of parks we have found on the app.

I have tried contacting the developer but every time I submit a message it says the website is impersonating the mail website and tells me it’s to go back because it could be stealing my information.

    Developer Response

I wish more users would take advantage of the Contact Me button instead of leaving negative reviews. I respond to all inquiries and requests! Thanks for alerting me that my website’s Contact Me function was not working! Please contact me directly at denverplaygrounds at gmail dot com
