Good music, poor reception
I love the idea of no commercials. And the music options are really great. But the frustration level of having the music constantly cutting in and out is worse than just listening to a commercial every 10-15 minutes. I’d rather have that than dead air for who knows how long. Then, having to kill the app, open it up again, and then find my Channel because it’s never on my favorite station. It’s maddening. Works great, could use some more genres
Just got this app hoping for a decent replacement for Music Choice. It gets the job done for the most part, but one thing I found somewhat disappointing was the lack of dedicated channels for certain genres. For example, I really love 80s New Wave, but I don’t see any dedicated stations for it. There’s a station for 80s hair metal and 90s grunge so why not new wave too? Other channels leave a lot to be desired as well. For example, the classic alternative channel appears to be playing it safe with late 90s / 2000s contemporary hits rather than the early 80s-mid 90s alternative heard on MTV’s 120 minutes. Classic alternative is a very diverse style of music and I wish the station would capture that more like Music Choice’s version of the channel did. I realize this is mostly due to personal music taste, but I just figured I’d voice my opinion.Show lessBlackPikmin1998
Best app
This music app is by far the best free non commercial app there is. With the many different station selections and the great music of songs that were radio hits along with many songs that didn’t play on the radio but were the best songs on the albumJay_hendix
Stops on its own
I do most of my listening in the car, and it seems the app doesn’t work well with CarPlay because after a couple songs the app just stops. You have to switch channels/stations, but it happens again after a couple songs.Thedew34

I’m not sure if this is an app problem or iphone problem.
When playing music from the Dash app and when the phone screen sleeps, after a period of minutes the audio will pause or stop randomly by itself. I’ve tested this with Bluetooth speakers, earphones, and without Bluetooth devices. The battery levels are fine and have tried while connected and charging, on wifi, off wifi. NOTHING SEEMS TO HELP FIX THIS ISSUE.

Who picks the songs?!!!
Okay, I LOVE the fact that there is commercial free radio and they play great songs I haven’t heard in decades but in many instances it seems they play the album version of the song instead of the radio version which isn’t always bad but there doesn’t seem to be a rhyme to their reason. Whatever version that is of Paper Lace’s The Night Chicago Died is WAY off of the one we all came to love. And the greatest FAIL is when the album version is the much prefered version as in Manfred Mann’s Blinded By The Light and they play the short version. Make up your mind! Their affinity for novelty songs can be a bit annoying as well. They were on a Village People kick there for a while. Novelty songs are more appreciated as a rare occurrence in which case they feel special but as a semi- regular occurrence the station becomes cheesy.Show lesspanicrev555
Wonderful app!!
I’ve been using this app for music (on its own) consistently now for a week and it is great to say the least! It’s completely ad free so no need to worry about those annoying honking, barking or screaming ads that most radio stations have. It does have a limited set of stations, but for me personally, I enjoy that! I’ve been doing a detox off of Emmy phone recently and it’s nice to have just a couple things to choose from. I've had this app for a while but just recently got around to really giving it a shot as a daily listen. I honestly can't find a single complaint - great variety, clean interface, reliable, and works flawlessly on multiple devices.
I feel as though I've gotten more enjoyment from this free app than I have from any of my multiple satellite subscriptions I've had through the years!Show lessSonofzell

The music stops randomly and won’t restart until I completely restart the app and they advertised Christmas music until mid April, but the music selection is fantastic and I don’t even notice any advertisements. The alternative station is always up-to-date with the latest stuff I like.ActionCats
