  • Charming, but could use some fixes

I had to reinstall the app because the stage that introduced the trolley duplicated all the characters. They were still in their original spots, but a clone of each character would overlay and animate on top of each individual character. I could not swap the characters and therefore couldn’t progress.

One of the House stages had a character with an empty desire bubble, but it was easy enough for me to figure out that he wanted to be near music after some trial and error.

Can you confirm whether or not it is actually possible to obtain 3 stars on the Forest stage next to the mushroom? It seems impossible for me to complete the level in three swaps. (It also might be helpful to have stage numbers so it would make locating a specific stage easier)

  • disappointing

alot of levels not able to open, even after getting 3 stars. we may be doing something wrong??? restarted the game & basically same results.
  • Issue in zero gravity levels

Before I give my review, there is an issue in the zero gravity levels that makes you THINK you can’t progress, but it’s actually just a flaw with the graphics that can be bypassed, so I want to share the solution so others can avoid the same frustration I went through.

First thing to note about this issue is that you might encounter it a couple different ways, as due to the fairly odd way the level map unlocks, I hit the same plagued level in two different spots… the 4th level in outer space (AFTER the space station interior levels), and also in the level that unlocks and appears in the moon outside the space station window.

Either way, it's the 4th of the zero gravity levels, and the characters would not color in (turn from b&w to full color) when matching them up properly. More specifically, matching Bron (rock face) with the purple & gold stone would not color him in to show that he was ‘happy’, and the same occurred when matching Mike (the dog lover) with the dog. I tried over and over to no avail, in both versions of the level that I could access, and thought I just couldn’t bypass it. Finally, it occurred to me to just match all chars/items up anyway, ignoring the fact that they weren’t coloring in, and that did the trick. Confetti dropped and the party was on even though half the chars were still b&w ;)

I happened to do this on the moon-outside-the-window version of the level, and once I did, going back to the 4th outer space level produced a completely new and different level this time, now on the ‘TYR’ world, and I could play through all levels normally from there.

With that out of the way, this is actually a pretty cool game. It is definitely strange, but I had a lot of fun with it, so much so that I ripped through it in one day. Art style is really cute, puzzles are challenging but fun, which utilize a matching method based on the wants & not-wants of each character vs. where they are positioned at the party, and new mechanics are introduced as you progress.

It’s quite a stellar effort for a new developer on the App Store, and I hope Shelly continues to improve it with updates and new content.
