Donations not received
The app seems to work fine for very small donations that are less than a pound. But for every big purchase I’ve made when it says I’ll receive a large donation percentage, my donation has been declined. This has happened despite me reading all the terms and conditions and being eligible for the donation.
The customer support is bad as well. When you make a claim for a missing or declined donation, easyfundraising can review it very quickly but they just tell me that it is declined without giving me a valid reason why.

Just a couple of things…
I generally think the site is excellent and recommend it often. I do have a couple of gripes though:
- please can you sort out the reminder thing so it works with iPad? You’re always suggesting I use it but it won’t work for me!!
- for some unaccountable reason my original account has been wiped, with my existing donations etc. a new account set itself up (?) and is working fine, but what happened to my original one??

Easy Way to Give
The app is easy to use and once you get into the habit of going into it before you shop, it is all good. Being able to see your donations in a small league table is a good driver for the business and appeals to us all who have just a little wish to be at the top of the table😄 Just be aware of permissions when you set up and be prepared for regular messages!

Poor service
It looks so easy! Click through to a retailer via easyfundraising and let the donations roll in! In reality the donations are often a couple of pence. On occasions donations are declined allegedly because you didn’t clear your cookies before logging in or perhaps you inadvertently looked at a website previously. Sometimes dealers make mistakes and reverse a donation. Don’t expect any support from easyfundraising in this situation. They will hide behind their arcane cookies rule and you just have to pursue the dealer and hope that they will relent. All in all a frustrating way of raising money for your good cause. Probably better to shop around for a deal and donate your savings directly.

App Updates have Broken Getting Donations
I’ve been EF for my chosen charity for nearly four years and usually the donations would appear quickly. Recent updates in the past couple of months have broken the donations getting through, even though I follow instructions to enable the donation, clear cookies etc. I have stopped receiving the notifications and have to log a missing claim which takes months to process.
Have got really fed up with the amount of effort I’m having to put in each time to try and get a donation and have lost all confidence in the app, despite reinstalling it, using across different devices etc. Easier to just send a donation to my charity each month instead.

Something has changed.
I’ve been using Easy Fundraising for some time and have got several others to sign up their charities and groups. Initially if I had any queries the support was amazing. Had several phone calls for guidance, the company even made a video for my church which was amazing. Several months on and some updates down the line to the app I can’t get the support I need. I shop through EF weekly. Donations aren’t being added. Even the deputy head of our school (the second EF account I admin) is having the same issue. She’s using a desk top. However after several emails back and forth support have said the issue is my end. Which it can’t be as they are different accounts, one is a church account and one is a school. Both using different devices to shop.
Sadly support is now lacking when issues arise, customers will eventually give up.

An easy way to raise funds for worthy causes
EasyFundraising is a quick, straightforward way to raise funds for your chosen worthy causes. I love the reminder that pops up on my phone when I use participating websites, the app is really useful too for checking your donations and finding and saving those participating websites.
I’ve signed up a few family members to get extra bonuses, all for very little effort.
It has made a huge difference to the small charity I collect for, Penistone Knitting Group.

Worthwhile Cause…
Easyfundraising is such a fabulous site and all for a worthwhile cause.
I always check EF prior to shopping and use EF every time. It’s good to know that so much money can be raised this way and that my local charity (WISCK) benefit from it. So simple too, would like to see more shops/businesses signing up.
A special thank you to the EF team who are always very helpful.
I would encourage everyone to sign up as your chosen charity could benefit from it too.

Easyfundraising is simply a fantastic site! I love the idea that a donation is made to my charity, Forever Hounds Trust, every time I shop. Sadly, not all places I buy from are connected to Easyfundraising, but I buy from those sites that are, where possible.
I did have a gripe that the “donation reminder” wouldn’t work with the iPad system, so thanks to my bad memory, I often lost possible donations. However, the wonderful people at EF have now fixed that and my iPad now gives me the donation reminder whenever I go to a participating site. Excellent!

An easy way to do good
I found the donations really easy to set up via the app.
Once installed, it’s so quick and easy to make purchases via the app - Most of my favourite shops are available, plus I’ve discovered a few new favourites from browsing the app!
Most importantly, it’s lovely knowing that all my purchases are resulting in donations to my chosen charity. What a brilliant way to do some good at no extra cost!
