Time for some updates
Decent idea and mostly works, but keeps forgetting my Favourite Beaches. And then you get so many alerts, you’ve either got to stop push notifications or remove the app. I’ve put off leaving a negative review but it doesn’t seem to be getting fixed
Also it would be great if you could find out more information about a shark, such as what size it was when it was first tagged.

Great app with issues
I love this app and can see so much potential in it but I have a major issue with it…
I use this app to feel safer whilst surfing and have even caught a Apple watch to use whilst surfing but the issue I find with the app is I get a notification 10-30 minutes after a shark has been detected meaning I’ve been surfing with a shark in the water for 30 minutes to then find out after. If this was sorted and I was notified immediately then this app would be great but otherwise it’s pointless if you find out after you have been in the water and not whilst.
Please sort this and I’d love this app very much

This is a great app that sends alerts when and where a shark is tagged or spotted on the coast of New South Wales (Australia)
Very cool app
It’s heaps fascinating tracking sharks (with info about size and type as well as location now and where they’ve been!) even if u never get in the water.
But obviously it’s a must-have app for swimmers & surfers to know when tagged monsters are at their local beach!

Manage Beaches
I have tried and tried and the app will not let me at my beaches…. I’m so frustrated

Great app overall but it would be highly appreciated if you added Daytona beach and new Smyrna beach considering that Florida is the shark capital of the world.
Keeps crashing
Downloaded yesterday, keeps crashing everytime I open it. Push notifications get through but click on & crashes

Note that we only have alerts for NSW, Australia. SharkSmart App requires location access to determine the closest shark alerts to you. You'll need to allow location access to use the app in your phone settings. Please try this. Stay #SharkSmart.
Keeps crashing
Keeps crashing! I was able to open it once when first downloaded…doesn’t work anymore.

just got the app let me on once when i signed in everytime i went to click on it now it just boots me out the app before it’s even loaded in
