Leave a Review DisplayFusion Remote
Lacking a Lot of Polish and Features
DisplayFusion is an amazing piece of software and is an essential part of my PC experience.
When the remote app was introduced, it seemed like a good idea and I really looked forward to seeing how it improved.
It hasn’t seen any useful updates in a long time. It’s still missing a lot of polish and essential features.
Worse still is that iOS has evolved to where there are even more things I’d like to see added to make this app useful. However, it’s hard to ask for Shortcuts support or Widgets when you still can’t even favorite a function.
I’m not uninstalling because I do VERY rarely need to use it, but don’t download thinking this app is anywhere near today’s design and functionality standards.Show lessSeverely Outdated
I downloaded this hoping that it would contain even basic usability access with Shortcuts, but this app doesn’t even support modern iPhone displays. Absolutely needs integration with modern iOS features. How to get the app to work.
It’s not clear on how to properly set up this function but here’s how I got mine to work.
1) open DisplayFusion on your PC
2) go to the “Remote Control” section on the left of the menu
3) on the top of the application there’s a checkbox that says “Enable DisplayFusion Remote Control”
4) CLICK APPLY on the bottom right of the application
5) Windows fire wall will pop up asking for permission to connect and I selected both options to allow through private and public
6) open “DisplayFusion remote” app on your phone and refresh
7) your pc should be available to connect to on the list. Click your PC name
8) it will ask you for a security code on the phone which can be found towards the top left of the application on your PC.
9) after the code is entered all of the functions will be unlocked and you will get a log of all the actions you’ve preformed via phone.
Hope this helps! Great app btw.Show less
