The lite (free) version has been on my phone for a few years now. I can look up any ship by name or from the map, see where it is, course speed destination and basic details. Works just fine for me.martindpo
Bugs
To many bugs, when zooming out from ship, I just get a blue screen.Leo_Magg

This is a brilliant tool which has been very useful on my iPhone 7. Unfortunately it is useless on an iPhone 11 Pro. It gives ships OK, but where they are is another matter as there is no map to show where they are.Liz of Med

VesselFinder Lite does all the basics, very well. However it does fall short with the clunky UI, especially the search function where it lacks live results. Dots to show what picture you are on go off the edge of the screen. Not to mention the weird way, after you have looked at the past activity of a vessel on the map and clicked away, the course still appears!Show lessBenedict Bellamy

This app is useless, good half hour behind where the ships are! Four ships showing ready to come through rip, binoculars reveal the third one going through first two nowhere to be seen ! Doesn’t show the pilot vessels anymore even though you can see them with your own vision going out to the ships.Show lessCrushed cider

Used this app for a couple years without problem, now this year in order for me to see my ships transiting thru the Welland canal, they want a monthly subscription of 116.00 per month USD and I’m in Canada so approx. 150 cad per month...just deleted this app and now using Marinetraffic web page which is all free!
