Used to love this app :(

EDIT: After leaving my review I read through some of the other reviews and now I see that this developer responds only with two template responses some of which don’t even apply to the review. As you can see I got the same canned response to my review asking for information that I already have in my review. Because of the continued unresponsive customer service I have stopped using this app and found another one.

I’ve been using PDF Reader for over a year and I love it. Except now for some reason it crashes when I try to search and erased all my annotations that hadn’t been saved. I deleted the app and reinstalled and opened a new file and the same thing is happening. Please help! I have an iPad Air running the most recent version of iOS. I also shut down my iPad and turned it on again but no good. I haven’t downloaded any new apps either.

I would like a refund if possible.

I can’t believe I purchased the permanent version on my MacBook and you want me to buy a separate license for my iPad as well. You’re the first app I have had this issue with.
I would like a refund right now if possible.
It’s a total waste of money if I have to pay for separate licenses across me devices.

Love this PDF viewer !

Beside that it is free, there are multitude of features that I like about this product; such as (1) It allows you to highlight or underline part of the text, (2) After you close the app, turn off you tablet and return to read more later, it remembers where you left off and open at the right section for you. Unlike other app, once you close it and open it again, it always starts from the first page.

I have tried a lot of PDF Editors and this app provides many of the features that the professional apps include as well as the GUI is very easy to understand.

It does the job, works and is stable, much better than some other pdf readers out there. Lots of highlighter presets but would be helpful to be able to change the default editing color presets without diving into the palette every time. Color coding stickies would also be a nice touch.

One issue though, can anyone please help me understand how to open and read a sticky not that I’ve typed in? Clicking on it places another sticky note on top instead of opening it. Thanks.

Great for College. Just Two Suggestions

I am often reading my textbooks on the go or in between classes, and let me tell you- it is so much better than the applications I can find on my computer. I upload 500 page pdfs into this and it loads just about as fast as a 1 page pdf (only takes a few seconds).
I normally take notes and highlight the same as I would with a paper-back, which seems to be a difficult task for all the PDF editors I can find on my computer. Soon after getting the free version I upgraded to the pro version of the app and haven’t had to switch it since.

Two suggestions:
1. While the pens and highlighters in the app get pretty small, occasionally I will have a document that needs an especially small pen.
2. Add a continuous display option that takes out the space between pages (as opposed to the one page, two page, and book mode options). Some of my textbooks cut off the top and bottom halves of words at the ends of each “page.”

Smaller pens, continuous display mode.
