  • Doesn’t play right

You can beat the computer over and over and it won't give you the stars it is supposed to.

    Developer Response

The stars are earned from making large words with rare letters. Beating Foxy doesn't always ensure that you get 3 stars.
  • Cheater!

This game is way fun, but Foxy cheats like crazy! He uses words that aren’t words, proper nouns, and words from other languages. But if I try such words, they are invalid. I hope this gets fixed as they add levels, but it’s still fun anyway.

    Developer Response

Hi there. Both you and Foxy use the same dictionary so if it's a word that he's made then it's a word you can also make. As for proper nouns, they aren't permitted, but some words look like proper nouns yet have another meaning like "Boston" being a city and a card game.
  • Great word puzzle!

This app keeps me interested. I’m figuring out how to form longer words and what strategy works best. Entertaining and engaging.
  • Fun but not fair—Deleted

Bottom line — foxy somewhat cheats. Too many words are proper names/nouns and places and NOT really useable in other contexts... that I know of anyway—in the English language—and I have a pretty good vocabulary (grad degree and college professor).
I love word games so I’ll keep looking but here is what I want— a word game exactly like the old Blackberry Word Mole. Check it out— see what you can do.

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. The allowed words list does seem to have proper names, but they usually have another meaning. Boston for example is a card game. So it can be deceiving. • Words with a Foxy

Love the games But - how come Foxy is allowed to use proper
names? For instance he used in my games Boston, Japan, Togo, Lenore.
    Seems cheating to me!
Thanks for the fast answer. BTW those are all really bad games - I am totally addicted and am constantly thinking of good, long, special words.

I have one question. In Words with Foxy what does it mean when the fox shows up or not over the end result?

I am not sure, whether you want to know when Foxy is cheating. He just used “Lesbos”, which is a Greek island and nothing else as far as I know.😳

Why does Foxy win with 14 to 26 or something like it? Relates to my second question above!

Thanks for the feedback! I just checked and Boston and Japan are valid as they have other definitions (card game, glossy coating). However I couldn't find Togo or Lenore... I'll remove them from the dictionary. One last thing, if Foxy can use the word, so can you. Both are using the same dictionary. You can also just try to make the word and it'll turn green if it'll be accepted so you'll know before you make it. EDIT : When the Gold Foxy shows up at the end of the level it is because you managed to hold the GOLD tile until the end of the round. Do this on all the levels, and you win access to the 3 bonus levels in each world. We do want to hear about any whacky words that you feel Foxy should not be making. I removed LESBOS from the dictionary. Thank you. Please contact us at the following email with questions or issues. support@donkeysoft.ca
  • Entertaining but aggravating.

I enjoy the game however find it seems to have many bugs to be worked out and I think Foxy’s score should always be shown. One particular bug: in playing level 1-8 it is supposed to be most tiles or whoever passes first my score was 24 to Foxy’s 10 and he had passed 3 times when there were no more moves I chose pass and Foxy won the round. Really!?!? Most aggravating.

Hi there, Thanks for the feedback. That definitely doesn't sound right. I will have a look into it. Please contact us at support@donkeysoft.ca if you have any other issues with the game, as we want to ensure that it's fun and not aggravating.
  • Fabulous Game

This game is fun & challenging. I love it. And the dev always responds right away to answer inquiries. Can’t wait for new levels!
  • Love but not sure how to progress!

I love this game, particularly the way you can play a level over and over. But, I don’t know how to progress from the Beach into the Lodge! I easily progressed from the Farm to the Beach, but can’t seem to move on now.

    Developer Response

Hi there, You can progress to the next World by completing all the levels in the previous. The Gold coin and 3 stars are optional, but you must complete each level to progress to the next. Try returning to the Beach, and replay level 20. Once that's complete it should allow you to access the Lodge. Please contact us at support@donkeysoft.ca if you have any further issues.
  • Cute game but...

I can't seem to figure out how to win the level. Get three stars...nope not always. Get and keep the gold tile... nope. Get more tiles than foxy... nope. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to when I win or foxy wins. I've read the " how to play" and no help there. That is my only complaint so far.

Hi Laura, Thanks for the feedback. At the start of each level, the sign that pops up gives you the objective. It's either WIN MORE TILES THAN FOXY, or it's WIN X TILES TO COMPLETE THE LEVEL. That's all that's required. The Gold tile is a bonus for each level, and the 3 stars is also optional. I hope that helps. Please feel free to contact us at support@donkeysoft.ca if you have any other questions.
  • Good game

It was a good game but couldn't let me pass level 4. I won all the coin like on the previous level but wouldn't unlock level 5 or I deleted the app.

    Developer Response

Hi there, We have recently rebuilt Foxy from the ground up and included 2 new worlds with more levels. Previous bugs were fixed and there are new game features. We hope you enjoy it.
