Price History of AltimeterThree

Description of AltimeterThree

This is the companion app for Jolly Logic's AltimeterThree, a tiny recording altimeter for hobby model flyers. AltimeterThree can record the altitude and acceleration of quadcopters, planes, rockets, kites, hunting falcons, gliders, and helicopters. Essentially anything that flies. This app connects wirelessly to AltimeterThree using Bluetooth, and continually displays the battery level and status of AltimeterThree from up to 100 feet away. Press Record in the app, and AltimeterThree's highly-accurate sensors begin recording altitude and acceleration. After flight, the app downloads and displays an interactive visual graph of altitude, allowing you to pinch and zoom to examine every nuance of movement during flight. Want to dig a little deeper into the science and math of your flight? The app can share your flight data in a standard spreadsheet file that is perfect for analysis on your computer back in your lab or classroom. Great flights deserve sharing. The app lets you post your flight graphs and flight statistics with friends, colleagues, and classmates via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, and email—all from your phone or tablet right after a flight. This app is free and fully functional, but recording of flights requires the the AltimeterThree altimeter from Jolly Logic or one of its resellers. If GPS is enabled on your mobile device, AltimeterThree will save the location of each flight. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

  • AltimeterThree

Just got this for our rockets. My grandson wants to know “exactly” how high each launch goes! We get so much info from this little wonder instrument and it is so user-friendly. We are new to all this but we all agree every rocket has to be able to carry this and it is so simple to transfer.
Well worth the price of admission!👍😎

  • We love our Altimeter 3

I bought the Altimeter 3 from Jolly Logic as a gift for a high power rocketeer. He really likes it so far and this app has replaced the paper logs that he used to keep on each rocket. He uses the notes in the app to add the motor, ejection charge delay and other info. For that purpose, it would nice to have the ability to manually add a rocket/flight where you didn’t have the altimeter on board. He could add the old data which he references when preparing the rocket for a new flight.

  • Release 3.0.5011 not fully functional

The latest release 3.0.5011 does not record the whole kite flight. The previous version worked correctly and would record up to a 5 hour kite flight ( battery limited) but the new version stops recording in mid flight after about 1 hour. No release date for a fix is available from Jolly Logic
