This app losses its greatness by not having actual player names, pictures and in genral NBA licensing. The app would be so much better if it had licensing and am sure a lot more people would play it with proper marketing. This is because no one in my opinion wants to play with random fake players. I would love the game if it had licensing and hope in the future you can bring it back to its glory.

Easily a four star before the licensing apocalypse. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PHOTOS! The player names have been altered beyond recognition and the Jersey styles no longer even correspond to the players actual teams! Basically this is now a random basketball player manager game, because it’s impossible to tell the real life counterparts of your in game players! I don’t understand why they couldn’t abbreviate normally even without licensing. So basically the whole point of the game is in the garbage, but the mechanics in their most basic form are in tact so it’s a two star and not a one star.Show lessRWESTBR00K

Unfortunately, we no longer have the official license of the NBA, therefore, in order to comply with their restrictions, we had to remove all official branding from the game, which includes official logos, jerseys, names and images. We're doing everything we can to reach a new agreement with the NBA as soon as possible to bring it back to the way it was before. Been playing the game for a few years now, losing the licence (then getting it back in one update) so no more player or team images lost the edge on the game - but to now have all the player names edition just feels like a fake, fictional game.

I have played this game a lot and invested a ton of time into it. A month ago I would have rated it 5 stars but they recently lost their license with the nba. So the teams are now made up and the players don’t have their real names or likeness anymore. Which has really killed the game for me the only reason I downloaded and checked it out to begin with is because it had all the teams, players, and players likeness. But now that all those things are gone I’ve become bored with the game and am probably going to delete it. Wish you guys could have kept your license and kept the things I enjoyed but I get stuff happens that’s out of your control. Sneaky management
I recently spent a fair amount on upgrades - not two days later the whole game dropped the NBA because of licensing issues. Very underhanded not to let people know ahead of time when clearly they knew. Will continue to write for a refund.CustomerNOTforLONG

Update: Having lost their NBA licence and still charging through the earth to keep players under contract is it not time to call it a day?!!!
Despite having to re-buy all your players each planet (level) you move up I’ve loved the game for the last 12 months. Worked hard (and spent a bit of cash) to get to the final level (planet) and now with the latest update their is an expensive “contract renewal” tax on your players. Wouldn’t mind but the fees as astronomical e.g. to renew LeBron James (who I paid about £20 of game currency for), would cost over £20 ($25) to keep for another 60 days. Very disappointing. After playing through the game, spending real money and building a team the game has lost its NBA licence. All player images, jerseys etc have disappeared. What a waste of money!!!redgin123
