allows misleading information

I was able to find a therapist off this app, hence the two stars. But it’s a frustrating experience. Doctors are allowed to falsely state themselves in search filters as taking public health insurance when they only take private. Despite this being reported multiple times, Doctolib claims it’s not their responsibility for wrong information being posted on their app/website despite being the only booking place for several doctors. They also allow doctors with shady qualifications. The offerings listed for appointments is always too small/too little and there seems to be no quality monitoring or proper reporting system, leading to some practioners trying to scam new patients (usually immigrants) while Doctolib looks the other way. Book through your health insurance instead, it will save you the time and drama

Non sempre

In alcuni casi, il sistema va in crash, soprattutto quando si è ISF e per prenotare un appuntamento bisogna dichiarare di essere pazienti del medico in questione pur non essendoli.

Good app

It’s a good app but it would be great if they can add English translation to the list.

Response from developer

Hello, we're excited to let you know that Doctolib is now multilingual! We heard your request for an English version loud and clear. You can now easily switch to English, as well as French, German, or Italian, wherever you are. For your convenience, your language and country preferences will be saved and can be changed anytime in the settings. Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback! Your Doctolib Team

Love the app, but…

I love how easy the app is to use and how you can manage all of your medical appointments in one place. My only complaint is that the app only comes in the language of the specific country you are in. I recently moved to Germany and I am in the process of learning German, so having an app in only German is very challenging as I am constantly having to take screenshots to translate the content to be able to make the right selections.

Can’t highlight text to translate it

What COULD be a fab app is rendered useless on phone or iPad as you can’t highlight the text to translate it to your own language, and you can’t copy/paste it to another app to translate it either.

This app excludes those who are unable to understand the language, and don’t have a desktop/laptop.

Limited usefulness

This app ignores your local settings and shows surgeries that are up to 50KM away and in different cities - but your own. And the top results are all sponsored.

You have to scroll all the way down to find the actual relevant local alternatives.

To make things worse, every time you hit the back button the app goes back to the top of the list and you have to scroll past the sponsored search results again.

That’s bad UX practice.

With there was an English setting

Wish the app had an English translation setting, the app would then be perfect

German, French and Italian only!

The drop-down language selection is only German, French and Italian.
No good for me..!

Response from developer

Hello Zykonaton, thank you very much for your feedback. We are happy to take it on board and forward it internally to our product team. Best regards, your Doctolib team

Useful App

I rarely if not at all write more than two words for a review. But I honestly have to say. This App is not perfect and it could have a few more useful features like being able to message your provider through the App. I know there must be a perfectly logic and logistical issue with making that work. But regardless, the App is simplistic and that’s why it works well in my opinion.
