  • Great use with the OP-Z and Bluetooth Midi

Works effortlessly with my IOS devices, OP-Z synth, and Puc + Bluetooth Midi converter. Allows me to play a larger keyboard without further investment and leaves my usb-c port open on my synth.
  • Full of great ideas, not bad execution

The only reason I gave it one star is in hopes that the developer sees it. It’s really a great app. I have just had a problem where the app keeps giving me pop-ups asking me to turn on Bluetooth to make a network connection, while I’m not using it. It all started happening when I added the widget to the widget list. Since then, it pops up every two or three minutes. Removing the widget and turning off background functions hasn’t resolved it. It could honestly be ipados, since crapple is now becoming known as the company which once made reliable devices - while Steve was alive.
I’m about to uninstall the app as the pop-up is extremely frustrating. Again, I haven’t had any other problems really. Although, I honestly haven’t used it a ton (It just isn’t extremely useful in my workflow).

    Developer Response

Hey, thanks for the report. Obviously this should not happen. I will take a look into this. On a few occasions similar to this one, restarting iPadOS helps as well. Either way, I will take a look and see if I can provide a fix.
  • Yes! This is the one!

It was a bit of a hassle to get USB set up on Windows (requires additional installation of loopMIDI and a specific version of iTunes), but once it is set up, it runs flawlessly with very little latency. I am able to route my Novation Circuit as a MIDI controller through Reaper and use it to control almost anything on my iPad! Major kudos to the developer for releasing this as free software.

  • Is ok, nothing special

    👌
  • Thank you for this

Simple app that solves a big problem. Latency

With this app and a lightning cable, you can turn your iPad into a really REALLY powerful midi controller with almost zero latency. Great apps like the fugue machine aren't just limited to iPad only apps. I send those signals to Bitwig and get great stuff. Thank you very much for making this free.

  • Great App

Let's me set up midi network connections and keeps them open. Simple to use and has always been very reliable.
  • Indispensable

This app is incredibly important to me as far as using iOS soft synths like Thor and Magellan in DAWs like Logic.

No issues so far, but there is definitely some learning curve for setup.
  • Excellent, wish I knew about this earlier...

Whoa, I can send chord progressions from an MPC Touch to just about any synth on my iPhone/iPad & resample it back into the MPC...That's just the beginning, once you throw Audiobus into the mix you can add effects and record it anywhere you want on ur iPad/Phone... opens up endless possibilities. Insanely great stuff guys, thanks.
