“A bug has appeared”
Since synching the app, everytime I open it I get a message that a bug has appeared and I have to click on fridge, freezer and pantry to reload everything.
Quite frustrating considering the app is otherwise great.Vixxypixxy

I’ve paid for the update, it will not load. I’ve removed the app and reinstalled, the update still will not load. I’ve tried it on cellular data, I’ve tried it on WiFi — it will not update. I’ve tried it on weekdays, I’ve tried it on the weekend. I’ve tried it in daytime, I’ve tried it at night. I’ve tried it in August, I’ve tried it in September. Useful, hoping for improvements
Overall this is a useful app. My main goal in downloading it and getting the pro version (very reasonable since it’s a one time cost) was to get notifications of when food is about to expire so that we don’t waste as much. For the most part this app works, but there are some glitches that hopefully will continue to get fixed with future updates. For example, once in a while when you scan the barcode, the wrong expiration date pops up. There are still other times where it doesn’t recognize the type of food, and when you try to enter it manually, it doesn’t let you put an expiration date or puts the date that you enter as the expiration date. For this to be useful, the expiration dates have to be accurate. Overall though, I’m hopeful as I do think this will help me keep better track of our food and when it’s expiring. I haven’t used the receipt feature yet but I’m hoping that will work too.Show lesswillyxzcygjj
Potential, but categories are broken
App has a lot of potential, but ....
The categories are broken in the latest version, (Pro version). If you try and filter by category, it displays the name originally assigned to the icon, not the new category name you created. It also adds an ’i’ after the name and ‘(null)’. The tick does not remain against the selected category. Unfortunately there are not enough icons to choose from when you create a new category so it’s impossible to create new categories with unique icons. This makes it difficult to sort. Why not have a heading before each category?

A good app that allows you use your camera to scan barcodes, for you to add to the list of what you have, which identifies some things but not all. Love the way that you can sort it in either date order or alphabetic order.
As you use items and take it off your storage area, place is it in a shopping list. The only thing is if you’ve got two packets of something it will put both packets as you use it on your shopping list as separate items.
The database needs extending more, so the barcode scanning is more efficient. The shopping list needs improving so that you do not get multiples of the same item. Also really annoying that you have to go back out of the barcode scanning /add item area to choose a separate storage e.g. fridge or pantry. Would be much more useful if you could select that as an option the same as it does for date expiry.
Good for menu planning as well and keeping track of things that get lost at the back of the fridge/freezer. Also a slight problem syncing between devices e.g. tablet and smartphone.
Has the potential to be a very useful app once these little minor niggles have been sorted out.Show lessBunjirabbit

I make a lot of meals and freeze them down so very useful to see what’s available without taking everything out. Have tried various paper options for this in the past
but lose them. Have got the paid version so I can down load info for meal planning. Would get a fifth star if you could select a meal from the freezer from within the built in meal planner rather than having to type it in again.Show lessGowerEdge
Love this app, one major complaint though.
This app is very helpful and allows me to make sure I eat what food is about to expire instead of wasting it. One thing that I wish the app did is allow you to add ingredients from your ingredient list under the meals that you are planning on making to your grocery list.chyann26
Nice app, but Meal Plan feature is massively buggy!!!

The idea behind the app is quite brilliant. I liked the app so I paid for the £5.99 Pro thinking that it would make the experience better, and I was fine until I started using the Meal Plan feature! The Pro version is definitely not worth it! It’s so effing frustrating!Show lessrubi999

Loving your app, it’s sooo helpful to keep track of what I have stashed away in my fridge, freezer and pantry. I’m using more of what I’ve got, as well as not doubling up on buying things I already have. Only thing I wish could be updated is the weight selector - can’t enter accurate weights as it’s in increments of 50, would really love if it was enabled to select any digits, or at least in increments of 5 or 10.Show lessSassy Caz
Great app with great potential
This app is has all the main features I am looking for and then some.
- meal planning option
- shopping list
- pantry (freezer, fridge and pantry)
I have few issues with this app which is why it got 4 stars.
1. It seems to sync after every single change made. If I have my data off it just keeps waiting to update. I wish syncing would be done on the opening and closing of the app with a manual option to sync on demand.
2. Also there is no prompt on the sign out feature. I touched it and I immediately got signed out. I wish there was a prompt for this.
What I wish this app had:
- allowing item price as well as tax percent. This would definitely help with budgeting which is one of the reasons I searched for and got this app.Show less_Mystique_
