Reviews of Preaching the Word

  • In terrible need of updating.

This app is great for content. I live all of it. But, it does not play well in iOS. The index displays well, but once you click through to text and articles, the text displays past the screen or viewing area. You simply cannot read within this app. I actually add an icon to the url for the online browser version to access the articles. I’ve contacted support a few years ago a few times and never received a response. Not sure why anyone would have an app, when maintenance is an afterthought if at all.
  • Bad

I think it's probably a bad to use deceptive marketing for an app meant to be a tool for sermon prep. This is not free, and the word "free" is deceptive in the context of the description... AKA lying.
  • Subscription based

I'm not opposed to the subscription based app, but that should be clearly stated. Otherwise it just feels like a bait-and-switch marketing tactic. FYI, $15/$100/$300 (mo/yr/3yrs) - quite ambitious pricing.
