If I could give the app 0 stars, I would. Where is the timer option???
If I could give the app 0 stars, I would. I had my lights set up on a timer, but the timer option is missing!!! Please bring back that option!!! And, in spite of the fact that there is no timer option anymore, the lights continue to turn on as if they are on a timer. There is no way for me to make any adjustment, short of just unplugging the string of lights.Show lessTara_Girl
Update removed functionality
This latest update removed both the Music function and the Timer setting capabilities. Thus lessening my desire to continue the use of this product.AandF924
Timer Gone
Thanks for the update and removing the update app problem but toy also removed the timer option. Now my lights are on a timer but I can't control it beyond actually unplugging the lights. Please bring this back!!!rjshimages

Nice, but very unreliable - prepare for headaches
I have had these for more than a year and the firmware update process has been so horrible and frustrating. When the season is coming when you actually want to turn these on you find yourself spending an hour debugging it’s a bit embarrassing to have paid so much for these but I have to admit to myself that it has not been worthwhile because of all of the headaches getting all the controllers to function at the same time for a 84 light setup on the House. It hurts that I spent so much for this. The light shows are great but getting it to work properly is very annoying and frustrating.Show lessTelecommando
Love Lights, Hate App
Love the idea of the lights and how you can control them but the app needs major improvement. Everytime app closes or iphone locks, strands disconnect and what I hate the most, if you have music running and iphone locks itself lights stop but music keeps going and when app is opened again it says disconnected but music is going and then you dont have a way of turning off the music rather than reseting the app. It also has little effects. I think Lumenplay should find a new software developer. Lights are way expensive for what it offers. In other words, I do not recommend this set of lights. Fix it and we'll see.Show lessyelowcab21

I'm not impressed. The Ui of the app is pretty unfriendly. It says I can share light settings with friends but for the life of me I can't figure out how. The music thing doesn't really do much other than a solid color that changes every now and then and fades in and out with the volume. It would be nice if I could change what the pattern of colors was and how fast they change. In an upbeat song I want them to change quickly and they don't. And you can't leave the app, or even turn off the screen and have it still play. The color picker is laughable since the color on the screen won't look anything like the shade the lights are. Overall, it's cool, but a waste of money.Show lessDragonter459

Please update!!
- fx don't work when playing music, all the lights are solid and flash back and forth.
- Also you have to keep the app open when playing music or else it will stop playing
- if the timer worked without the app that would be nice toojustjoshinwithya
