Constantly disconnects even with a 5G signal. Won’t run in background at times. Better app years ago than today. Maybe spend less time trying to monetize and more time making the app work.

Constantly getting an error saying can’t connect to audio Network. reloading The app has not helped. I’m no longer able to listen to WIBC.
Updated app not good
Either fix this newer app or bring back the old one. This newer on e is basically worthless. It cuts out every time a new add scrolls along the bottom. Doesn’t matter if I’m standing right next to the router or out in the country. Please fix.

This app was so much better before the update and redesign. Now it has connectivity issues. It’s a shame.
Interrupted Severe Weather Alert with Add
I was listening to the app and a severe weather alert from the National Weather Service began to play. The announcer hadn’t even started talking when suddenly an advertisement started playing.

New update is terrible
Unreliable and inconsistent since the app update, regardless of internet connection or signal strength. The stream randomly pauses or completely stops without reason. Need a better fix!

The old app was great! The new Urban 1 app is horrible. Glitchy. The stream is constantly breaking up whether it’s WiFi or 5G. And I don’t need constant ads for apps. Newer isn’t always better.
Live stream
We’ve always enjoyed listening to it, while traveling. Now, we keep getting a message that it can’t connect and to check network. It’s always worked on LTE and 3G before. Tried internet and off internet, still can’t get it to work.
New ownership now not so great
Have been listening to WIBC for years and using app past 5+ years without incident until past several weeks. Now has trouble connecting and buffering often or unable to connect at all. Absolute crap.
Love the app
I love listening to WIBC!!! However, with the new app design I’m getting a notification that the app would like to control ads etc geared to my location. The problem is I do not want to hear ads from California!!! It is why I love WICB; it’s my oasis in this lost state. The only option on the notification is “Ok”. I need a solid NO option. When the notification shows up it freezes the screen so that I cannot scroll the news etc. on the homepage. Please include this fix in your next update. I love the common sense broadcasting of WIBC!!!!

Live Stream Not Working
App worked well months ago. I’ve tried on wifi and on 5G and the live stream does not work. Have uninstalled app and reinstall, still not working.
Can’t use app anymore
Since Friday 9/30/2022 I am unable to use this app anymore.
App not functioning
The app will not open repeatedly states no internet connection. Has not worked since latest upgrade. Have reinstalled many times no change. No contact info anywhere for help issues. About to give up on WIBC.

This app is worthless. Commercials interrupt commercials. Commercials interrupt programs. Not synced to the on air broadcast at all. I’ve written a negative review in the past, and the app mysteriously got better…for a while. Now it’s right back to being useless again.
