Painfully slow

Played the trial, didn't feel compelled to buy the full version. Pages so slow to load and the annoying page turning noise drove me mad. Quite enjoyed the puzzles and the game flowed ok,I knew what I was doing and wasn't constantly pressing the hint. Still not impressed enough to buy.

Ok

The game was just ok, sound on voices and overall was pretty rubbish, animation of human characters was very poor and very jerky

Enjoyable Game No Glitches

I really enjoyed playing this game. Four stars because there are no custom settings. I like to adjust the refresh rate both for the Hint and Skip Buttons. Many locations, so the interactive map and responsive Hint button are essential.

Cyndee beware - many spiders, both small and large!

I will probably purchase the next game in this series.

Enjoyable game overall

Shame the Bonus Chapter doesn't load consistently and won't save progress.

Other than that, one of the better made Escape games.

Disappointed

I have purchased this game and now it keeps crashing. Even when you try to open the strategy it crashes. Please can you sort it or it's a waste of my money.

Not bad

Only gave it 3 stars as after your half way through the game it gets laggy and slow plus the ending is rubbish!! Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the game! But big fish games start off well then come nearer the end it's like they can't be bothered with it anymore and then u feel kinda let down by it! Give us a good Ending!! ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ

House on the Hill

Wow! This game has a lot of glitches. It kept freezing up and I would have to go out of the game and open it again to unfreeze the scene. I've never played a game with so many glitches. The puzzle instructions were very vague and difficult. Some made no sense. I did play thru the game because it was interesting to me, but I sincerely believe more thought should have gone into this. Glad I purchased it at a discount.

Not very long

Little logic to moves. For a while, the map was great, but then, nothing. The hint was needed almost the entire game to figure out where to go. The HO scenes were fine. The directions on several games were so poorly written that I just couldn't figure them out, so I was forced to skip them. I don't like that! And there is no hint available inside a puzzle, so you have to wait in order to skip it. One puzzle I got through several levels by chance. Even getting through that far, I had no idea why. Needs work, but not too bad. Not worth the $4 I paid for it.

What is with Big fish? Don't they have a quality control department? Thought this was going to be a good game, but couldn't even play it. The first thing I tried to pick up caused the game to shut down. Almost all of B F 's games, recently are full of glitches. That is why I refuse to download any game I can't try before I buy. Big Fish needs to get their act together or they will not be getting any more of my money! ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿปโ˜น

Clunky and boring

The graphics are okay...just average. The inventory items have labels when you pick them up. The map allows you to teleport between locations and does keep track of places where you have something to do.

The soundtrack goes in and out like there is some kind of programming glitch. The storyline is simplistic and game play is very basic. The puzzles are way too easy. It all combines to make this game feel very 5 years ago and not a new game just being released.
