This is a great little game, easily worth the price.
Cute but deeply flawed
Pros:
- Good art
Cons:
- jumping controls are brutally inconsistent. Jumping normally has about a 80% success rate; double-jumping has about a 50% success rate. Even worse if you're jumping from a moving platform, which is required to progress in several places.
- your primary adversaries are disappearing blocks that crumble when you touch them, causing you to fall or not be able to jump. There's no way to find these except trial and error. It's a cheap and frustrating mechanic.
- the gameplay is uninspired; your character doesn't move in an interesting way and isn't fun to control.
- the puzzles are very simple.

This is an incredible experience! Looking for something to fill an hour? This will amaze you with stunning pixel art, fluid controls, great sounds and the satisfaction of finishing a game within that hour. GOTY contender right here.

Great game
I really enjoyed this surprising little gem.
It's a great atmospheric adventure, although my only criticism is that it is a bit to short.
Well worth a download and hopefully there is more to come from this game in the future.

A great 'metroid-vania' style game
One great thing about iOS gaming is when a gem like this just appears from nowhere !
Firstly the graphics are great, the music is old skool and the controls work well. Only played it a few hours and already I'm hooked. Lots to explore and do, a very cheap price. Games like this should be encouraged or we'll all drown in freemium hell !
