Description of What's Your Buzz?

What's Your Buzz? is a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) estimation tool designed to help those who choose to drink do so responsibly. Just enter your weight and sex, select your drink type (beer, shot margarita, etc.) and size, and What's Your Buzz? will take it from there. Common drinks are pre-loaded into the app, so there's no need to remember ingredients or alcohol content! What's Your Buzz? helps you track your drinks, the time between drinks, and calculates your estimated BAC. The app sober countdown will estimate the time it will take to reach a BAC of .00 from current BAC. If your estimated BAC exceeds the legal limit to drive in North Dakota (.08) the app will cue you to call a cab for a designated ride home. Disclaimer: Impaired motor skills are possible under the influence of any amount of alcohol. This app is designed to provide users with approximate estimates of BAC and should never be used to determine one’s capacity, with regard to the legal limit (.08), to drive or operate machinery. As always, remember to drive sober or get pulled over.

  • Please change these 2 things!

The app would be great if you could change the ounces to whatever you want and change the ABV to whatever you want to the tenth decimal!
  • Too many bugs

The entire point of a BAC app is to track a night of drinking. This one resets after you enter a drink. You have to track your drinks separately and enter them all at the same time. The “shamey” messages they send you when entering a new drink are also condescending and would lead people who really do need to track their BAC for safety to possibly not use the app.

  • Tracks only one drink?

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but if I log a drink it gives me my current bac. Then, if I close the app and go back to log another drink, the first one I entered is gone. This is not helpful at all.
