Does the job.
Could do with being able to repeat expenses that are frequent
Thoughtfully Made
I’ve been using this app for almost 3 years and I cannot imagine life without it. As other reviews mentioned, this app is great in that it’s ad-free, does not require complex steps such as linking your bank account, and it’s very simple to use.
It’s perfect for anyone that often wonders where their money is going and would like to start tracking it. I like that we can customize the categories and view our total spendings for the day, month, and year on a pie chart.
I rarely ever write reviews, but I like to show my appreciation for things I really love. My biggest props and gratitude to the developer for creating this gem :)

No excuses
So simple to use and track your expenses and see where your money is going. It takes a few seconds to make an entry. The monthly graph is very useful and you can drill down from each category to see the actual entries. Sending to Excel is also a breathe. It also synchronizes automatically across devices.
My wife and I use it separately, export the files to Excel and then merge the files to have a global view of our expenses.
Easiest way to see where your money is going.
No excuses left!

Excellent app. Simple. No invasive ads
Excellent app! Under recognized app with no premium promotions, or ads, or bothersome paywall features. just expense tracking. perfect. could use some minor quality of life improvements. if you miss inputting for a week it is somewhat inconvenient to backtrack and re-input all your missing days (because after every input you are taken back to TODAYS current date for the next input) — then you, the user, has to change the month and day for every singular input. this aside: SELLING POINT for me is the home screen widget where i can quickly input purchases without opening the app.

Simple and it works
Needed a simple app that lets my wife and I input expenses and that syncs.
Fantastic simple app
I use it daily in my 3 year RTW
A bit too simple
Would rate it higher if you could change the names of the categories.
Otherwise works well

So easy and effective
So easy to use I keep clicking on it because I want to use it. But because I have it I end up needing to use it less. Each time I’m about to spend money, I think about needing to enter it into this app, and a few days in it’s already saved me from a purchase that I really didn’t need to make.
The history function is also great, and I love the customization of categories. If you do your own accounting on a spreadsheet or on pen and paper, this is for you.
Excellent app.

Missing one key feature
Here’s a tip for you. The more your app can do as in the whole picture the more people will use your app. I don’t want an app to track just my expenses and the a separate app to track my income. Someone seeing just what they are spending is half the picture. Its absolutely incredible the dev response to my comment with a laughing emoji. Do a search on all the other apps. They have income and spending. That way you can keep track of your spending and budget properly. It’s not rocket science but for you clearly it is. It’s missing income like all other apps. Makes it pointless. I don’t just want to see what I spend but also what’s left again like all other apps. The last update was also 4 years ago so they have abandoned this app.

Response from developer
You don't want an app to track just your expenses, but plenty of other people want. Many people want a simple and straightforward app with a minimum of features. The world doesn't revolve around you. Do you want more features? Try my other app - "Finance OK". P.S. The last update of "Expenses OK" was... two days ago😊
