Good idea, needs work/ crowd sourcing

I've found some great playgrounds with this app. The interface is great. Parks are NOT named correctly and there is no separation for public/ private playgrounds. With some work and lots of crowd sourcing this could be a great app.

Edit: Hi developers!! I'll keep adding info to parks and sharing the app :)

Works as advertised

The app shows all the parks around but relies on us, the users, to update the park information. Great app for being free!

Needs updates

Seems like this app is abandoned.! No data available. Do not install

Great interface, Great idea!

Playground Buddy is simple to use and the interface contains helpful information. There's a place for photos and comments about each playground, including check boxes that note if the playground has a play structure, sandbox, slide, swings, restrooms, etc. As the parent of a toddler, I particularly like that there's a place to note if a playground has special toddler swings.

I can see how this app will be invaluable when traveling with kids.

If your area is blank, it just means that no one has started entering playground there yet. The app is free, so it would be great to have more contributions!

Not public available playgrounds

I tried to use this app, but playgrounds that it lists are not public available in most cases they are attached to school.

Not enough data

The playgrounds were pinned on the map but no further information or photos were available, at least for my city. Perhaps there aren't enough users generating content for Nashville yet. But regardless it didn't meet my expectations and so I will be trying a different app.

LoveIt!

Almost 2 years of trying multiple apps, asking neighbors, and exploring were almost useless in comparison to the first few days of running Playground Buddy. Wherever I am, the application maps nearby playgrounds accurately, allowing me to have more fun with my kids. The only reason this did not get the full five stars was because the ads on the bottom are very sensitive and will activate when trying to enter parking and special notes on 'favorite' playgrounds. This happens often enough that I've stopped bothering to add those two categories, usually just marking it as a favorite and moving on...

Great initiative

Main framework done. Now users need to input information (Auckland). This is a very helpful app for parents with small children. My wife and I love it.

Needs some work

This app has the potential to be really useful, but my first try using it took me to a church with a private playground ( not open to the public). I went to a park that appeared on the map. It wasn't marked as having a playground, but it has a fairly large one. I tried adding it myself with the tools available, but kept crashing and would not save the information.

Needs detail

Most playgrounds are listed but unfortunately lack any detail as to facilities etc. Fantastic concept and work in progress. Should recruit us mums to add the info that's missing 😉
