  • Game constantly freezes

Being a boardgamer and brass being one of my favourite games, I was delighted to see this available as an app - unfortunately in the 3 times I’ve played (all offline against ai ) the game keeps freezing so all you can do is close the app and restart sometimes ebbing your turn before you’ve finnished - I hope there is a fix for this as it’s simply unplayable as it is.

  • Great implementation with an annoying bug

I'd happily give this a five star review of it wasn't for the bug that means the tick button doesn't work half the time once I'm about 70% of the way through the game. The work around is to return to the main menu then continue the game.
  • Good looking game, but bugs break it in the rail era

I enjoy playing Brass on both my iPad and iPhone, and it works great in the canal era, but once the rail era starts, I’ve encountered a bug where I am unable to complete my turns as the check box to complete turns is unresponsive. A work around is to go to the main menu and then continue the game, but it’s cumbersome and sometimes skips the rest of your turn - for example if I attempt to develop two items on a turn, I am only able to develop once and when I go to the main menu and continue, it won’t let me develop a second time. Same applies when attempting to sell cotton twice on a turn. Would be a great implementation once this bug gets fixed.

  • Awesome game - keeps crashing

Love the game itself, and the implementation is not terrible. But it’s not great either (e.g. not friendly or intuitive). My biggest issue is that it keeps crashing in the middle and end of games. Good night, it can’t be that hard to make the game stable. My last straw is in my last game when it permanently crashed after my last turn! Gahhh.... so frustrating!!!

  • Unusable on iPad Mini 4

Bouncing pointing finger of doom freezes games every time in my iPad mini 4
  • Not optimized for iPhone XR

Icons hidden under the notch and pop-ups cut off at the top and bottom of the screen makes the game unplayable.
  • Buggy on my iPad Pro :(

I get a certain way into the game, before the ‘tick’ button to confirm an action ceases to function, requiring me to quit to the main menu and ‘continue’ the game (thereby missing the result of my action, as it skips straight to the next turn).

Eventually, after ‘continuing’ a few times, it will lock up entirely.

Poor, and very disappointing, especially as I was just starting to get the hang of it :(

  • Bug

In phrase two, can’t make any actions.
  • Broken

Would be good if game didn’t keep locking in single player. It won’t let you acknowledge completing your turn making it impossible to play
  • True to board game

I have played this with friends face to face. Rules are correct and computer characters help sharpen your skills
