  • Great game but could use a little more...

I have played this game before and I did unlock Asia, of which I enjoyed playing as American. As I did like the random events implemented in it, I find that the map is kind of bland without a fifth possible ship, the aircraft carrier. I can see how having a ship class that can launch aircraft can be challenging, but I would enjoy having more fun launching carrier Bourne planes on ships and land targets, especially in the map of Asia.

  • Great but needs more

This game is awesome. The fact that you guys made it possible to unlock countries without actually paying is amazing. But I feel as if the game lacks in certain areas. Such as diplomacy and maps. For diplomacy it would be awesome to move through your allies territory which is a huge problem in North Africa. It would also be cool to customize the factions in the game. Like having a setting where you can choose what countries are in what faction. Being able to send your allies resources during the game would be a cool feature as well. Like if I’m Germany and I see Italy struggling in Africa I could send them resources to keep them in the fight. Another thing you could add are more maps. Such as alternate history like Germany, Italy, and japan or the USSR and China invade the United States. Or the allies invade the mainland of japan. One more thing you guys could add are different ways to transport troops. You could add more units like cargo planes and cargo ships witch you could load with troops to invade a different part of the map. Even if you don’t add these things your game is still amazing and good luck on any future ideas you have!

  • Best strategy game

This game is amazing it’s fun and I never get tired of it unlike other strategy games but what I think would make it better is maybe add some more regions like the Middle East or Africa or the americas also maybe able to change the time era like if want to play ww1 or modern Europe so hopefully you can did this in the future but until then I will keep on playing this amazing game!

  • Good game but a problem with ads

I really enjoy playing this game a lot and it’s tons of fun, but it has a problem with ads. Sometimes you can get ads over the HUD, so it basically covers up useful information such as how many supplies you have. If the game devs put the ads somewhere that didn’t block the HUD, then I’d have given it a 5 star review. Overall, it’s a good game, but the ads can get quite annoying

  • Great but one suggestion

This game is overall one of the best offline strategy games on the market. It’s fun, challenging, and great if you have nothing to do in your free time. I love how it doesn’t just give you access to all country’s immediately, it adds to the challenge of completing tasks and earning country’s. My one suggestion though is that you make it available for players to pick or form their own alliances. Over all I would suggest this game if you want a challenge and want something fun to do in your free time.

  • Asia Map’s Impossible Tasks

When the game functions like it should, it can be great but the Asian map simply pisses me off. In exhibit A, we have the RoC and CCP which have a scheduled event to simulate the Chinese Civil War. Why is this broken, you might ask? Because they get volunteers every turn, even on every providence they conquer. This obviously pushes the two countries that could be large even larger and if they’re small, they will have a massive advantage. This would instantly favor the Allies or Socialist block, making me think twice before picking axis. But it gets worse. When you play as Japan and reach somewhere in 1945, you will instantly lose the game without a single chance to simulate the atomic bomb hitting Japan. I have no idea why you guys thought it would be great to not only have an event that destroys two providences, but also removes the potentially largest power from their faction and on top of that disband their military regardless of their position. This got me from a critical near-victory to an unfair defeat. If I could, I would refund this map for just making it impossible to play as Japan.

Side note: The bonuses given to small countries in the Europe map is not even present in the Asian map which of course adds insult to small countries. Adding the Free French and naval advance parties fun and challenging, but playing as small countries or disadvantaged factions ruined this game for me.

  • Game of the century

I’ve plugged in over 100 hours on this game. Absolutely enjoyed every minute. All the reviews under 5 stars are firm encouragement to the developers to fix some minor issues, however, I absolutely understand how hard any fix might be as the game is at its optimum functionality. The AI is very forgiving, in case of alliances, the allies tend to be a bit uninvolved in your battles, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I really hope the game doesn’t stop here. It would be awesome if the developers combine both maps into one, that way France has more than just Algeria overseas. Playing Turkey might become a lot more fun if the map included Syria and Lebanon. Last thing I want to say, I would love to pay some money to have the experimental mode! Where I’m given unlimited resources- quick games will become a 30 min play instead of 2 hours.
    Thanks for an awesome simulator!

  • Great game for a tactician

This game is amazing, and has been since I got it some time ago! It is not easy to play, even on a large country like the USSR. You need to be smart about your moves, and I would not recommend this to an amateur. If you are an amateur, I would recommend playing as the US first, then branching off from there. There are countries that seem impossible but I think that they are. I only have one problem with the game. You need to know what missions you need to do to get certain countries. For example, I don’t know how to unlock Germany(I do, go via Turkey). For this, a level tree would be great. You should also have the Asia map pre-unlocked. Overall, it is an amazing game, that will entertain you for hours.

Hi! You can unlock Asia by opening all European countries.
  • So much potential

Before my main reason for writing a rare review, I’ve a minor suggestion. Allies should be able to pass each other through territories. This is especially incumbering for France which bring me to my point. I’ve played the France campaign FOUR times, and that first objective wasn’t easy the first two times. The last attempt, I lacked only one objective on the list and my save disappeared. I tried the USSR, the first objective was an enjoyable challenge but again, it didn’t save. While I enjoy the game, if I can’t progress - what’s the point?
