This is one of the better brewing and logging apps out there and each update gets a little better. Nice job.
Really Good - could use social feature
I really like this app. Great design etc. I like how it is farm focused. Consumers need to be more farm rather than roaster focused (less beading bias). I do however wish there was a strong social feature like 'Untapped.' It's a beer app that I use to track and rate beers I've tried. Really fun/unpretentious/user friendly app. A similar coffee app would be glorious. Roasters could upload coffee's and users could rate/track them etc. Could create good feedback for roasters/farmers from consumers. Except keep the farm focus strong - I like that. Great work on this app!

Coffee Diary
This app is awesome and will be very interesting to see how one will be able to look back at all the coffee entries
Great for documenting
The coffee map is the main reason I purchased this app. Having the ability to see the coffees I have roasted/tasted in a visual display is great. As a home roaster I can also put notes for how I roasted the beans and the taste differences. The Brew portion of this app is not very good though. No matter the configuration of the amount of water/beans the timing for brewing is not accurate. It's better to just use a stop watch or the Brewseful app.

Exciting and Promising
I love that it has both pre-packaged recipes and the ability to add your own. A few things to fix but promising! I am excited to see it improve and grow.
Nice. Would add one thing
This is what I've been waiting for. If I could add one thing. It would be to be able to add a photo of the bag to the notes section.
I like collecting the bags but this would be easier.
It would also be cool if the share to Facebook feature was more than just text. Like perhaps also included the map picture. Or better, a screen shot of the bean details screen.

A True Coffee Lovers Dream App
This app in its simplicity is truly amazing. It is great for a connoisseur and also someone who wants to learn more about coffee and perfect the art of a good brew. I would love to have an app like this for tea too! Great app.

This app is an empty notebook. Like a press without coffee, it's just a bunch of air.
Someday, maybe they'll connect users; a Strava for coffee, help you discover new beans, contrast with others' experience, share recipes. This is not that.
It's an awkward log book, with a few coffee-centric fields.
Another thing to fiddle with when you're trying to make a nice cup. It won't help, it'll just get your phone wet.
P.S. Home menu design is really annoying. Just use a tab bar!

Finally the coffee notes / brew timer I've been looking for!
I hardly ever write reviews but after finding this I just had too. I've been searching for a while now for a good brew timer and coffee bean notebook. I was never really happy with any of the solutions on the App Store. They were either too ugly, didn't offer enough customization or notes, etc. I've finally found what I'm looking for! This app lets you input all the information you would want about your beans, that way you can keep track of what you like/dislike. The brew timer is also the best I've come across. It lets you add ratios, grind sizes, notes, brew steps with timers, and it lets you customize all of this so you're not stuck with whatever methods the app supports, you can add your own.
I've got a few ideas for improvements like a built in 3-5 second pause before starting the brew to give you time to get ready. The ability to upload photos to each bean entry (so I can have the coffee bag cover displayed). The ability to reorder steps in case I mess up and forget one. And possibly a method to backup everything so you don't lose it if you lose your phone, possibly backup through dropbox or something.
I can't wait to see what updates are to come, but it's already miles ahead of everyone else and totally worth the price.

A coffee app that understands my needs
This is the app I've been searching for to organize my coffee notes. As a barista, I like to log the coffees I drink and document my thoughts so I can share them with customers. The map feature is unlike any other apps I've tried.
My favorite tool in Press is the coffee timer. Fussy, single cup coffee means different methods and different timing for each. Press has a built in, programable timer that lets me share my recipes with friends or clients.
