This is a great game! Me and my mom both loved to play this together! I’ve been wanting the 2nd app to come out so I can see what’s next! I’ve had this app for 2 years I think waiting for it! I just want to know when it will come out??

Awesome. We love that you're playing with your mom! As for Volume 2, it's going to be soooon, we promise.My daughter and I loved reading these and doing the puzzles. We loved finding the hidden objects and we loved the story line. We read them several times, while waiting for book seven....but when will it come out?
I’ve had this app for several years and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The artwork is especially pleasing and the hidden objects and puzzles add a great element to the story. I very seldom buy a game or in app purchases and kept putting off the inevitable purchase of the remaining books. I played thru the first two books a couple of times and each time decided I liked it enough to break my rule. But It wasn’t until my 5 yr old granddaughter got interested enough to actually play the game and needed my help that I finally bought the remaining 4 books. She is so excited, as am I, that we can continue this adventure!
Imagine my frustration as she skipped happily away to her Princess Tent to open book 3, and I picked up my iPad to start over from the beginning and play clear through the whole series, only to find that my purchase of the last 4 books is not recognized!! What’s up with that?? I can’t find a place to tell the app that I already purchased them! What kind of a rip off is happening here?

So first off this is an amazing game and I totally recommend buying the other books. Although when will you release the next one(s)? I'm pretty sure I remember it saying that you'd release it in 2018 and well.. It's 2018 now. Will it be soon or a few more months?

Glad to hear that you loved Volume 1! We are behind schedule, but Volume 2 is underway! We're aiming for a Fall 2018 release. In other news, there is also a prequel book series coming to a bookstore near you coming Spring 2019! Lots of Weirdwood Manor still to come :)I don't usually put reviews on games, but I'm really enjoying this adventure! I hope they make more games! The sound track is wonderful and the visuals are just fantastic! And finding out about the creatures and solving puzzles is just amazing. I'm just really enjoying this game!
I have played this game and found just about every secret. Though after five play throughs I am still wishing for at least one more book or a new game to describe the place that Oliver went to or why he is there. Nonetheless the game is amazing because it got me interested in solving puzzles more than just a game or investing my money into a story more than just a book, it ended on a cliff hanger though. That is the only bad part!

Glad you liked it! I have good news for you... we're in production on Volume 2 (the next app) right now and it picks up the story where we left it with Oliver locked up in that mysterious room. Volume 2 will be launching this summer. We'll be posting more updates later this Spring :)You need to complete certain pinball games for certain game components but there is no offer to solve for them as there is for other puzzles. Is the fun supposed to be the the story or needlessly fiddling with a silly sidebar game? They need to fix this. If a person wants to complete one and get on with the story there is no alternatative option. Why won’t the fairy creature offer to solve these as with the others? The puzzles shouldn’t be irritating. The idea of a video game should be first and foremost, entertainment.
At first, I was just looking for something do do, but now I wish I hadn’t because I have no spare time. I’ve completely finished the game and now I’m playing it over and over again. It’s literally taking up all my time and I can’t wait until escape from Weirdwood manor.
I came across this when I had an assignment for a class to review a picture book app (studying to be a teacher). I had only expected to flip through the first "book" for the paper and I ended up buying the entire series because I became instantly hooked!!
The story makes me think of Harry Potter meets A Series of Unfortunate Events meets Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. It's mysterious enough to constantly keep you hooked, but not so overwhelming that it's confusing or creepy.
This is a WONDERFUL app for any kid that HATES reading. The design and interactiveness of the story makes you forget that you're even reading because you get so absorbed in the story. It's easy enough for kids to work the app and read, yet advanced enough that it will challenge their reading skills and adults can enjoy it too.
I read somewhere that the developers had said that the next chapter will come out in 2017, and since November is almost over I'm hoping it must be soon! Eagerly waiting to see what happens next!!
Wonderful story, characters, screens, mini puzzles, can't wait for the next series of books. Wish there were more books like this to enjoy.
