Hello - I'm sorry for late response. For sound, you need to make sure that sound is turned on in your iPad Control Centre. Exit the app and swipe down from the top right corner of your ipad to open the Control Centre. Then swipe up or down on the sound icon to turn sound on or off. I hope this solves the problem.

We bought this as our first app for our 11 month old daughter on the strength of some of the Usborne books.
The app did not disappoint! It's as great as expected for tiny children with lots to press on and explore and nothing to accidentally mess things up for them.
Superb
Responds to quick touch, touch and drag, and lingering touch in different ways. Kudos to the developers.
