  • Good fun and long play

This was a pretty decent game and was a good length, as was the bonus segment. Some different puzzles although fairly easy but then I had it set on that level. I'd recommend trying it, especially on sale!
  • Not bad

I really liked this game, nice puzzles and storyline. The only issue is a couple of crashes and sometimes frustrating to get the play pieces to match and work, play on iPad so there may be issues there. On the bonus game my duster has disappeared without doing its job so have to abandon. Additionally I would have liked to finish collecting fairy shoes, but not able to revisit game.

  • Practically reset at the end of main game

    Hello,

I was at the end, had 5 shoes to find, made it thru the tunnel, lit the torches, made & used the ladder, all that. When I went back to the game, it behaved as if none of that was done. The tunnel was dark, had me recollect the pieces of the items like the rag, the noise maker pieces, refined all the fairies, event home already had done that, the game congratulated me when I freed the last one. Disappointed. Do not want to start over.

  • Great game!

    Looking forward to the next.
  • Cute little game

This is one of the most enjoyable HOGs that I've played in a while. I liked the system for combining objects, much more effective than some that I've played. Alas, it was a bit short. I played through both the main game and bonus game pretty quickly.
  • Not one of EIPIX's best

I was able to play to the end but the game was littered with minor glitches all the way through.... insensitive tapping places, map not showing where there was something to do.... and what's with the gears always showing every time I tapped an interactive place? Was that supposed to happen? It was kind of disconcerting. These things interrupted the flow of the game and the story. Anyway, an ok game, but Eipix has made games that are so excellent that they've set the bar very high and this one just didn't measure up. Not for me, anyway.

  • Great Game👏👏👏

Loved the story. It kept my interest until the very end.☺️ Graphics were incredible. The voice overs were amazing! If I had to say one negative thing it would be that the puzzles were a little on the easy side? But the game was so great it didn't really matter! (And yes, I play on the hardest lvl)
    Definitely recommend⭐️

  • Of fiends and faries

Very tricky game play especially with the ring sequences. After an hour of trying I had to go on you tube to see how it works and even the demo man had to down load a patch to get it to work. It is stunts like this which ruin a perfect game so why make things so difficult, even your hint button does not have a solution. Apart from this I still think the game is worth 5 stars

  • Loved it

Initially had trouble with crashing at the start but this soon rectified itself. After that, LOVED it. Great storyline, graphics, map, and of course HOP. Definitely recommend it.
  • Enchanting, enjoyable and a touch glitchy.

I didn't see the crashing or most of the glitches that people have discussed in their reviews. This isn't new territory, but helping the fairies seems like a good thing to do. And it's better than some of the recent storylines coming out of Big Fish. Here's why 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

The good: nice, logical storyline. You can figure out what to do and where to go next without the guide or hint button. Beautiful, colorful graphics, plenty of new scenes, an action-coded and teleporting map, labeled inventory, well-done voice overs and cut scenes, a good hint button, good mini puzzles, and some fun riffs on HOPs. And a fairy sidekick with an Irish brogue, too.

The not-so-much: The biggest issue is too many too-finicky puzzles where you need to touch in EXACTLY the right place or you can't pick up, locate, solve for x, whatever you're supposed to do in that scene. The flowers in the vase in one puzzle early in was mentioned by one of the reviewers already, and there are a few more throughout the game. The other issue is that it is easy to over hit the continue button and miss some of the narration. And it is also all too easy to back out of HOPs or scenes, as the graphics go below the area to click.

But what an improvement this is compared to some of the really lousy and shoddy deliverables BF has trotted out recently. It's a lovely game, it's fun, with a good mix of familiar and creative, and I recommend it. 3.5-4 stars.
