Description of Logic City Jr Lite

This is the Lite version of Logic City Jr, a logic puzzle game for ages 6+. It's simple in concept, easy to learn, and then gets really challenging! In our tests, kids loved it. LogicCity Jr (the full version) won an award at the International Serious Play Awards 2015. "Although addictively fun, LogicCity Jr. has serious educational chops and works with developing a child’s ability to think and reason independently" - TeacherswithApps "LogicCity Jr provides a completely kid-friendly experience from start to finish"Apppicker Contains No Ads. "My eight year old son loves this game. It has quickly become one of his favorite and most used apps .... My son has really improved his critical thinking skills and his teacher in school asked what has gotten him thinking more."Apppicker reader reviews The goal of the game is simple, to fill the grid with shapes, without repeating a shape in a row or column (yes, like sudoku !). But wait - there's more ! You have to manage the colors and the shapes simultaneously - adding a whole new dimension to sudoku. These puzzles have been developed by Michel Lyons and Arunima. Michel is the creator of several popular and highly rated board puzzle games such as Metaform, Architecto .. etc. He has also written math curriculum books with a focus on problem solving. For our very young users, these logic puzzles aim to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills to an advanced level without needing to get into mathematical notation or complicated formulas - just pure logic, and deduction. These skills can then really help them understand and enjoy math. We've tried them out with several elementary school children, and they keep wanting to do more. For adult puzzle lovers, it's also fun to play with them. It's a nice break when you want to put your feet up but keep your mind engaged or do something different from everyday life. You can go to the later levels straight - they get pretty challenging ! Even more challenging puzzles available as LogiccCity. Idk what to write. My parent downloaded this for me when I was 7 so i guess it was good. I might need to try it out again…
  • Good puzzles, poor visual/audio

Fun puzzles. Lack of background music and sound effects for grabbing and dropping pieces makes experience feel hollow. Pop-up message boxes look ugly. Level select menu too small. Smiley faces on pieces look cheaply drawn.
  • Problem Solving and Lateral Thinking

My kids love these puzzles. Challenging and fun.
