fell victim to purchasing this old version
1.The Ben Greenfield software is outdated, causing display misalignment tailored for screens after iPhone 8. 2.Incompatibility issues render essential high-pressure vibration reminders ineffective. 3.Data upload function has ceased due to lack of maintenance on the outdated software, resulting in error notifications. 4.Outdated algorithm yields erroneous HF/LF ratio results for heart rate variability, significantly differing from other software or yielding opposite results. In conclusion, this is an outdated software that is no longer being updated. The new software, called SweetBeat HRV, offers the same functionality and updates. I fell victim to purchasing the old version.

sound and vibration are not functioning
On the current system, both sound and vibration are not functioning
Better than all the others…
Of all the HRV tracking apps, software, and hardware I’ve tried, this has everything anyone could ask for, and more. The RMSSD platform insures accuracy, consistency, and the graphs are easy to understand and provide actionable factors that both guide & inform.
No information
All the graphs in the world don’t mean anything if you don’t know how to read them or what is good or bad ratings, not user friendly at all... I’m sure there are better apps out there !
Good but needs improvement
The notes section is not user friendly , should be at end of session in a place you can go back and to read/edit. Also today it said i recovered so i can proceed with training but the day before gave me no warning that i was deficient ???
Not worth the money
I downloaded after reading a review from Ben Greenfield. Have been a long time elite HRV user. That is free and actually gives a more detailed breakdown on your HRV. This app has lots of diagrams, but it doesn’t go into any detail at all about your HRV.
Choose elite HRV for free instead. This is definitely a regret purchase.

Read Carefully before Purchase
Doesn’t work with all heart rate sensors.
Response from developer
Yes, please review the Supported Heart Monitors page. We have performed rigorous testing on many different and popular heart rate monitors on the market. Not all heart rate monitors transmit RR intervals which are necessary for HRV calculation. Some heart rate monitors that do transmit RRs are not accurate enough for clinical grade HRV.
Very informative
My neurofeedback doc loves that I’m doing this.
A Powerful Tool
Whether you're an athlete or fitness/health geek, this is such a powerful tool for the cost!
If you just want a simple app that provides a scaled HRV value to determine whether you should go hard or go easy, this app delivers. If you’re like myself and like to geek out on all the numbers (rMSSD, LF, HF, RR) and even watch a live graph of your heartrate, this is an awesome app.
This app has really helped me to be able to push into the overreached state without falling into the overtraining hole. For example, when I train hard for 2 or 3 consecutive days, my HRV will plummet from a baseline of 69 down to the lower 40’s. It normally takes a few very easy days for my HRV to climb back up, but if work is stressful it will take longer. I just keep the training on the light side until my HRV comes back up to the baseline.
I’m also a user of TrainingPeaks and I consider my HRV value just as important if not more important than my TSB.
The science for correlating high frequency to the parasympathetic nervous system and correlating low frequency to sympathetic nervous system is mixed, but the science behind HRV in general is solid.
I use a Polar Bluetooth heart rate strap with electrode gel/cream and never have had any issues!

This app does NOT work
Whoever designed this app needs to be fired. It has a horrible interface (graphics and set up are brutal) and it doesn't even work. NOT compatible with Apple Watch and many other heart rate monitors. I purchased the polar heart rate monitor solely to use with the app and the app detects my heart rate but won't even detect a heartbeat, after countless efforts. I am a huge fan of Ben Greenfield, but this app is a giant heap of disappointment and a huge waste of money and time. DO BETTER
