The App Store guidelines EXPLICITLY mention that developers should never use push notifications for promotional or marketing purposes. I get push notifications almost every week, and what’s worse if I launch the app, the badge number reflects the unread messages in my “inbox”. Hello? It’s not my inbox if you’re using it for spam! I expect the inbox to be service-related, urgent and high priority notifications like if my auto payment had failed for whatever reason. Please update the app to remove this garbage, or at least provide users a way to opt out of these, as should be the case when you decided to spam your users with garbage promotional messages.
