Can't even open the app
Why?
Amazing app!βββββ ββββ
With this app, I learn something new every day and at the same time I don't get boredβββββ
Broken
I used to struggle through the advertisements that pop up literally every three clicks, but now it has become entirely unusable, where every time you download something new, it disappears and you are unable to view it for a second time for as long as the app is downloaded. The original version was so good :/

Works very well
I downloaded this onto my 5th generation iPad which runs IOS 12.4.1 and found that it worked very well, with both small molecules and large proteins. The ads did not get in the way, and I was able to download pdb files from the RSCB protein database. What was really good was that I could email pdb files to myself, then open the email and copy the attachments to the app and visualise them with no problem. This is great, because it means you can view files you (or your colleagues) have created yourselves, so you are not limited to structures in the public domain. The app is basically a viewer, so it just enables you to look at the structures and rotate them with your finger, but that is still impressive. A wider range of display modes would be nice, rather than just ball-and-stick and space-filling, but it is still brilliant, and a great thing to have on one's tablet. Roger

Ok to try
Easy to install.
Even easier to delete.
The clumsy addition of revenue generating advertisements renders this application useless.
It was a decent recompilation of βmoleculesβ app, however. As it did not crash during its brief lifetime on my iOS.
I must presume the attributed author needed some compensation for their development platform. Hence the adware.
Please recompile without the distraction and nuisance of ads that link to the web?

Run away!
Total spam ware, popping up ads and jumping to unrelated web sites.
Get the 'Molecules' app instead.
This is the exact same app as 'Molecules' in every conceivable way except for that this one been cram-packed with just about as many ads as humanly possible. It's unfortunate. This app hits you with an ad at EVERY opportunity- every time you change screens, every time you search for a molecule, every time you delete a molecule from your list/history, etc.
The only two reasons I gave this app two stars instead of none are that a) because technically it does function as an app, and b) you can't rate something zero stars anyway.
To put it plainly- the overload of popup ads and screen-covering ads on ten-second timers and all that is really just unacceptable in an app these days, especially with a better alternative out there. Why should I have to deal with greedy developers rendering a great app practically unusable with sixty-five quadrillion ads per minute when essentially the exact same app already exists with approximately zero ads? Psh lol.

Sadly doesn't work
The ads are so poorly implemented that they obscure the interface and you can't actually enter any of the stereo modes. Pity as otherwise it was exactly what I was looking for...
