The Best Netatmo App
I’ve been using this app for several years. The official Netatmo app is poorly designed and they’ve added almost no features over the many years since the product first came out. There’s still no Apple Watch complications - for a weather device! With Comfort, you see your data from multiple sensors and stations all in one place, without awkwardly switching between them one at a time. One click shows you historic data in multiple time periods. Netatmo could learn a lot from this app, if the company cared about improving their user experience. This app offers much more convenient ways to view your NetAtmo weather data than either the official NetAtmo app or MyAtmo. In ONE TAP from your phone or your Apple Watch, you can see all the readings from ALL of your NetAtmo modules and even multiple stations in your account. With the other apps, you have to switch between different modules / rooms one at a time, and it’s slow and clunky. With one more tap on any of the modules you can view simple but informative graphs. This elegant, quick access to all readings should really be the default way NetAtmo works.
It’s very disappointing that LeGrand, the makers of the NetAtmo system, haven’t done much over the years to improve their app and add features (still no Apple Watch app, really?!). They should also provide one screen to simultaneously show all your rooms, modules, and stations at a glance. MyAtmo provides some better functionality than the NetAtmo app, but it is overly complicated and slow (and expensive). But thank goodness that there is this great alternative app, Comfort!Show less
