Adequate. Not using it for anything fancy, and it works as expected.. But thank you for not restricting it so I can use it on my MacBook Air.
App constantly times out and does not show the camera view.
I have to constantly refresh the camera, which is very annoying, as what is the point of having a camera that you can view anytime.
Doesnโt Stay Connected
This is for security but often my cameras simply time out. When they work, they are clear and crisp but as a security app, it leaves much to be desired! Adding cameras to the NVR is painful and it appears that one is not actually adding them to the NVR at all but rather in parallel to it and ONVIF seems more of a dream than an actuality. Clicking on events to see any recorded video never works. More importantly, a major problem is that it keeps renaming the cameras so, until itโs open, I canโt assume it will be the one I need to view!

Good app but needs one improvement to work well
Just as Iโve read other reviews say, if you close the app, it doesnโt open to your preferred cam view, like it does on the iPhone version. The iPad version will make you select your DVR and cameras again, stupid omission on the iPad version, not sure why in the world it was changed? Fix that and at least it would be usable.

Not iOS 10 compatible
Made the switch to ios10 and killed my cameras for the iPad. Kind of useless app if cameras never connect

Extremely disappointed that I cannot connect at all with my cameras since apples new updated. Amcrest needs to get something done Now!
Worked fine until latest update...
The app was 4/5 stars until latest update. Now the app will not connect on any of my idevices. Please fix ASAP. Btw...I can connect just fine from my windows pc.

Updated app and won't connect!
Can't connect directly to camera with prior App. Had to select camera and device when there is only one camera. Now won't connect to camera at all, useless device and app., If not fixed soon !!

No Camera
No matter what I do this app and camera don't work. The only thing,worse,is customer service. Do not buy.
Setup & Quick Start Documentation Need Work
Took two hours to get one iOS App and the camera up on initial setup.
A key step is to leave the User and Password fields as "Admin" and "Admin" THEN change them to your preferred names. Quick Start directions need to clarify this.
Once I tried and errored my way through that problem the camera and software work as advertised although it takes some effort to figure out features.
There has got to a better way to design the software and setup. Hardware is very cool though.
BTW don't bother with the cloud app. It doesn't work. Believe the reviews.
