GREAT
The one problem I have with this game is that I've been playing it for the past 7 hours straight. I've played through many times. I've died probably 10 times (mostly within the first 10 mins of fighting). It's a great game which actually has a lot of replay value. It's really interesting to see how each job you can have ties together and how a couple different choices can so greatly affect who lives and dies. Must have game right here!Show lessDudeman375
Historic and Authentic
A great game, summing up the simple spirit of the Tommy and Fritz, and showing the horrors of war with some lovely outré and oddly noir twists. Highly recommended and for playing again and again!Brotherchar

This story is incredibly well written, but there were not enough choices or interactive (for lack of a better term) features that made me feel like I was a part of the story. Very Good
First, a disclaimer. I'm a WWI nut, but I will try to remain objective. I've got library going of CYOA games, and this one is one the best written Choice of Games I've played. I didn't encounter so much as a typo. The author has a clear passion for the subject matter, and it bleeds through in each paragraph. The author also has a palpable respect for the human tragedy that was WWI trench warfare. The writing pulls you in and at times I felt real anxiety about going over the top. The game is on the short side, but the narrative is so concise it was still satisfying. I hope to see more from this author. Worth the money.Show less76V84
Great game.
I found that I would read page after page, repeatedly after I said I'd stop. This game is very fun, addicting, and I would love to see more, especially WWI games.

Nice effort but lacking
This game had an immersive and detailed plot that really gave a great impression of what trench warfare was. The problem with this game is that the character development is so small and hard to figure out that you are never quite sure how you're choices affect the outcomes. Worse, there are no saves in the game so you end up having to start all over when you die without actually knowing what you did wrong. Recommended if you're the die-hard WW1 fan or like to spend hours trying to figure something out. Otherwise, skip this oneShow lessTankFille
