Missing code?
For all I know, this app could be brilliant. However, on my iPhone 6, and as at iOS 12.2, there seems to be a crucial step missing from the program code (which probably wasn’t necessary when the app was first created) without which it is hamstrung.
The app must be authorised to access the phone’s photos via privacy settings, but unless a program submits an access request to the operating system, the relevant app does not appear in the access request list.
Since there seems to be no way to force-add an app to the list in question, nothing can be done with this software other than discover its version number. The “app support” link here is to an unknown domain and the “developer’s website” link is for an art store of some kind (which does appear to be related to this app, since they share a name).
If I’m ever able to review this app’s functionality then I shall return to do so! (It’s also possible that I’ve misunderstood how the operating system works or have made any of several other possible errors and that this review is just plain wrong - I promise to put my hands up and apologise if that’s the case).
Cheers folks!
