Great app, but Alarm function would make it awesome
Great that I can finally listen to my favourite radio station again online without a tuner, but it would be great if it had an alarm function where to set say weekday the app open, and selects the radio station you set, just like an old school clock radio alarmTony Avsec
The best radio app in Australia
I’ve tried them deleted many radio apps, this one is by far the best, free and no adds. It really is simple and straightforward to use with no hidden subscription or operating surprises. I’m only interested in local stations and it sounds awesome on my speakers at home and find the sleep function useful.Show lessbrolgaski
Slow when switching stations
I’m on the latest version app and it’s nice to navigate around the app etc. my only issue is when switching stations it can take up to 5 seconds for the station to load the stream. The LiSTNR app doesn’t have this issue and is much faster. If this app can load streams quickly it will be my go to app. Maybe in the next update.Show lessShaunnothappy
Slow to Load - repeats ads
When loading up via CarPlay it is slow to load and slow to respond to touchscreen station selections.
And when radio station is loaded and it starts streaming, often it will play an ad then repeat it once or twice more.
I tested it against a real radio receiver and the time lag between live transmission and streaming can be more than 30 seconds at times.Show lessMarts_57
Too many ads
I got the app specifically for digital stations. It picked them all up great, but any time you change from one to the other, it plays an ad first, even if the livestream is partway through the song. The artwork related to the song playing also changes halfway through, so that’s a little confusing too. As with others, really not a fan of having to go back to the main menu to change stations, even though there are left and right arrows on the CarPlay screen.

Was good but now useless in the car
Started using this in the car via CarPlay, which was great with full functionality and able to listen to any station. This was until a recent update.
The ability to change stations with car controls for your favourite stations was removed that meant you now have to constantly navigate back to the app while using navigation.Show less573V3 of Melbourne
Good Concept but Needs Significant Improvement
The idea of having (almost) all Australian commercial radio stations consolidated on a single app is fantastic.
Initially, I enjoyed being able to scan radio stations around the country and listen to the different music and talk programming.
Unfortunately however when the app is connected on CarPlay and you use Siri, it thinks every voice command is for Radio App and you lose hands-free access to Apple’s music app and all other audio apps.
For example, “Hey Siri, play Elton John” or even more specifically “Hey Siri, play Elton John on Apple Music”, Siri will invariably come back with “Now playing 3GG Gippsland” or some other random station. It’s infuriating to the point where I had no choice but to delete the app.
Also, there’s no option in CarPlay to add a station to your favourites using the on screen control. You are then forced to manually search for the station each time you want to find it(so take your eyes off the road), or pick your phone up while driving which is clearly unsafe.
Considering that radio is very much an in-car medium it’s striking that these issues have not yet been detected and resolved.Show lessHungry APPetite

Great app but fix required to resolve now/recently played to reflect real time playlist
I absolutely love this radioapp but wish the now playing & recently played songlists would update in real time as I like to know what I'm listening/have listened too and the same artist and songs have been showing for the past week since I started reusing the app.
I have to go to the stations web page to get the playlist details which is quite frustrating.
If this issue was fixed, this app would be 100% perfect!!

Good app, why so slow?
This is a great app and have used it for a long time, but I’ve noticed in recent updates that’s it’s a lot slower selecting stations than it was previously. I use the app through CarPlay, and this is where I’ve noticed the slower responsiveness of the app. Sometimes I have to unplug and then plug my phone back in to get it to work.Show lessDan Nunn
