A great networking tool
Buzzy is great for creating conversation threads on different activities and for organising groups of people so they all stay in the loop. A great App concept and definitely recommended
Handy for chats with non-technical friends
I love using Slack at work with our startup product development team but it's too techie to be anything my non-startup friends and family would use.
Buzzy is being built by a couple of guys in the neighbourhood where I live and I happened to overhear them demo-ing it to the owner of my local coffee shop. So I downloaded and tried it out.
Awesome!
It's really easy for non-nerdy friends to use and keeps all the messages and attachments in one or a series of multiple-person conversations available for searching later. I can embed URLs, media and add things like structured tables. (The coffee shop owner now shares his staff roster this way).
Still a couple of rough edges in UI design but nothing to prevent friends and family using it.
I'm a fan.
